Exactly as described
This was a gift for my son, 6 months ago. He says it's exactly as described.

No es buena opción.
El modelo es distinto a la publicación y la duración de la batería no es buena, no creo que sea mayor a 1800 miliamperios. Funciona pero no es la calidad que mínima que deseaba.

Picture and Description Do Not Match
The model of this radio is BF-A58... NOT a UV-9R or UV-9R Plus. The housing for both model is almost dead-on identical. The lithium battery is listed on the label as BL-9, but does not list Wh or Ah, so it is unclear if this is an 1800 or 2200 battery. The menu system and internal screen looks and behaves exactly like the UV-5R series radios. It does show the option for HIGH, MID and LOW for transmitting power, yet unsure if it puts out 7 or 8 watts as advertised here. It does have an excellent sounding speaker. Not sure if the sensitivity is a bit poor or if the stock Baofeng antenna does not receive NOAA weather radio well. The belt clip allows for the radio to rotate and is easily detachable. I have not submerged it in water to test this unit. On employing DCS, it seems to have a problem breaking squelch compared to other Baofeng models (UV-5R, GT-5R Pro, etc) I own and use. The price was under $20, so still not a bad radio and a bargain if it truly is waterproof. I would not buy from this seller again due to the picture and the description not matching. I would most likely go for the Mirkit edition offering instead for an extra few bucks.

Turns out not the product for me. Already in the landfill. Worked perfectly as new when tossed. Seller was excellent and product arrived safely and on time.Thx

Held up well and recovered after submersion
Submerged for 30 minutes, took a few hours to recover functionality but did work eventually. Would be nice to have it work after being submerged.

Not the same as advertised
Not a UV-9r Plus radio> it's a BF-A58 radio showing on the radio!!So you don't have the radio correct
