I liked it cause it is more than I expected. The silky texture feels good when you touch it. It comes with a pouch to carry it in case. I even washed it, and it is still shining. It is not thick or thin, I would say perfect size. I read the reviews before I bought but the thickness is adequate. It is not a rug, right, you don’t want it to be too thick. They also sent a prayer bead and a counter as a gift which is cool. My wife thinks she can also use it as a decor on the wall or on the table. She already tried on the table and it looks fine there too. I might end up buying a second one 😊

The prayer rug has a silky feel, I love the pattern, the colors are vibrant.... It really met my expectations. The gift that comes out of it is a bonus. In a word, it is simply magnificent, I will definitely make another purchase as a gift to my friend. There have been comments about the small size of the pouch, yes, the pouch is a bit narrow, but if the prayer rug is folded well, it fits.

I got this not to use as a prayer rug, but as a clean, hypoallergenic rug to protect me and my poor immune system when I need to sit on the floor - whether for floor stretches/relaxing to help ease my poor back and hips, or for meditation, or for sitting on while playing musical instruments.The rug itself is simply amazing, very beautiful, soft, and lightweight. As another reviewer stated, if you have rougher hands, it may snag a bit, which I am used to with more luxurious fabrics.The bag is simply too small for me to get the rug into it without risking breaking the bag or damaging the rug. I'll make my own bag, perhaps even taking apart the included bag and reusing the fabric to make the new bag, because I do really like the matching fabric - it is a very beautiful fabric that I appreciate despite not being the target audience for this product. The motif of what I am assuming is a different shape of prayer rug has a sort of stained-glass or architectural quality to it.Also comes with prayer beads and counter, both of which I have trouble commenting on the quality of as, as stated, I am not the target audience for this product. However, as a jewelry maker, I can say that I like the feeling of the beads used in the prayer beads.

For a Naamaz mat needed to be much more subtle.

I ordered this as a gift for one of my closest friends. It was a great congratulatory present and he absolutely loves it. He mentioned how elegant and nice it is. The gift set which includes prayer beads as well was a nice touch. He mentioned how soft and silky the material is. It's not too thick, yet not too thin. Perfect for travel and can easily be stored away. And for the price it's practical, affordable gift that most will appreciate. He's told me he's received a lot of compliments on the rug and set as well. All in all, I think this is perfect gift that will rarely disappoint.

This is not a rug it’s paper thin , not comfortable for prayer . I don’t understand the five star reviews, look elsewhere for a real prayer rug . This is a big disappointment.

As someone who has studied textiles and meditates, I can see this is a smooth, well-finished mat, well-suited for special purposes. There is something about having a 'place', where you do the same thing in the same way. You could draw symbolic meaning in the pattern of the mat, of many small mats put together, of prayers put together, of those who pray (or meditate) gathered in strength. It is as attractive as the pictures show.The counter is a standard digital counter worn on the hand. The beads are plastic, decorative but probably many who would use this rug already have beads they use. The storage bag - like other reviewers I had a hard time putting the mat in the bag, but it fits if you fold the fringe to the inside, and then fold the edges in. (Like packing camping gear!)I must rely on the conscience of the vendor to know if this mat is suitable for the purposes they propose. This is a thin mat, not really suitable for a rug with foot traffic. There is no content label on the mat (although it might not be expected on a religious item). I can appreciate this as a beautiful mat.
