What the ???? is Carbonium?
Well, this one is pretty simple. We ordered a Carbon Density Cube... We got a cube labeled Carbonium...Is this supposed to be some form of Latin? A Google search comes up with a French company making some kind of composite aircraft parts called Carbonium. Not sure what this is, but it is NOT sutiable for display. Called Amazon customer service to report this. The lady on the other end laughed herself silly! And then proceeded to send me a new one...Which was mis-labled the same way! They will both be going back!Other than that, they were nice cubes... Just useless as displays because of the labeling.--

Nice execution
It doesn’t actually DO anything but it’s a nice addition to my element cube set. It’s attractive, clearly labeled and very smooth to the touch and makes a great desk toy.

Really nice sample.
I sprayed it with a satin polyurethane to keep it from rubbing off on your fingers. That made it darker, more like the way you'd expect pure carbon to appear. I used satin Deft, which did a great job of protecting and preserving it.

Wrong engraving
The cube is wrongly engraved as "Carbonium" instead of "Carbon," differing from the advertised picture.
