Oral-BSensitive Gum Care Electric Toothbrush Replacement Brush Heads Refill, 2 Count

So, after years and years of avoiding Oral-B, I decided to try one because the quality of the big sonic brand has gotten worse and worse over the years. I purchased a sonic toothbrush in 2008 when it was still being made by the brand company. It lasted 10 years, so by the time I had to purchase a new one, they had sold the company. The first one I bought failed and then the models I purchased thereafter just got increasingly worse, with inconsistent power, inaccurate replacement head description, etc. The most recent one I have is too intense on my gums---I purchased the replacement head for sensitive gums and it is hard a a rock and I think was contributing to some gum recession. Also, the replacement heads are still so, so expensive. You can't catch a sale all the time. Anyway, I purchased the Oral-B 1000 in store to try it out before moving up a model. It came with the cross-action head, which is standard I think and WOW! Anything that might have been going on with my gums, the toothbrush blasted right off. But I found that the cross-action is a bit too stiff for my gums if I use it several nights in a row. That said, I just might rotate that head in every now and again. I tried the precision clean, which was just okay and decided to try the Sensitive Gum Care head. This is the perfect one for me. It has the right level of firmness. It cleans my teeth without making my gum line tender later. The only thing I don't like is that the toothbrush is loud. Like, it sounds like a garbage truck. Too, there is a learning curve to using the toothbrush (don't press too hard, get under the gum line, but do not brush over the gums, etc.) but I found a few YouTube videos that have been helpful. These heads are not too stiff and not too soft. I am not sure if Oral-B has a variety pack for replacement heads, and if they don't, they should create one so people can figure out what's best for them. I use the Oral-B in the evening and a Nimbus manual toothbrush in the morning that I sometimes rotate with a different sonic brand (subscription based sonic). Lastly, it says I purchased from the Oral-B store, but this place has turned weird (you don't know who you're really purchasing from and what you'll get), so I'm not sure. I received the package intact and I will be repurchasing the Sensitive Gum Care heads.

Since I take so many supplements to not feel terrible (in my 50's) But, some of these things make my gums sensitive. These brush heads are really functional for easing that. I thought I would hate soft bristles because I always hated soft manual brushes, but these are pretty great.

Toothbrush head acts much like my soft bristle manual toothbrush does. Soft on gums and teeth. I actually switch back and forth between the cross action and this one. I like them both. The problem was that I received the toothbrush package and it had been opened, and there was only one replacement head in the package, there should have been two. When I contacted Amazon, they told me I needed to contact the manufacturer. So that is what I did. After a long wait on the phone, I was told I'd be receiving two coupons in the mail to purchase new replacement heads. The catch is that I couldn't use them to purchase more on Amazon! I looked online at the Oral B website, and they are really expensive. Might just as well order them on Amazon and ditch the coupons. Instead I went to the local Walgreens and purchased there. Not as expensive as the Oral B website, and I didn't have to wait. Not happy with the quality control.

They were exactly what I wanted and price was great. Would order again.

Easy on gums. Cleans well.

Good but not as soft as I had hoped. I have super sensitive gums and the bristles are a bit rough on them.
