The manufacturer shows the lures as being 14 cms. Without any stretching they measure 13 cms. The lures are supplied without either a mounted hook or a preformed passage for threading your line through. There is a small indentation to suggest where you might insert a hook. However you can choose how and where you want to mount the hook. Typically either directly in the head or through the head to emerge in the belly. If you need to change the hook, it's a good idea to sever the hook above the barb, to minimise damage to the lure. The lures have plenty of flexibility to provide a good swimming action when retrieving. Comes in a resealable bag with 5 sand eel lures.These lures come without hooks so require you to thread your own and should be good for catching bass etcI look forward to trying these for some spinning in a few months when the larger bass are around.The price is a tad expensive at £1 each but they feel pretty tough so should be good for multiple uses and should last some time.
