Looked for my hart 40v lawnmower
It fits and work like the original part. I ordered cuz we lost my original safety key so this one is for the 40v ryobi but it it the same part for the 40v hart lawnmower

Perfect Fit for Ryobi 40v Mowers
I have 2 Ryobi 40v mowers and the key fits both. My grandson lost one of the keys, so I ordered this one. Sure enough, missing key showed up as soon as this one arrived. That's a good thing, though, as I'm hanging onto it for when he loses the old one again.

Melted in my lawnmower
The key melted in my lawnmower. I had to take it to the Ryobi dealer. Thankfully it was under warranty and they fixed the key slot and sold me an OEM for under $10.I wouldn't buy this. Buy an OEM key from ryobi. It takes a couple weeks to receive, but better than a melted mess in your mower.
