Recaro North - Aqua H2O - Eau De Toilette - Impression of Aqua Di Gio, 3.3 fl oz

This is a very good imitation of Aqua DiGio. It's very clean but still masculine; it smells like a sexy man! Like most impostor scents, it doesn't last as long as the real thing. I think it has more of an alcohol content so it evaporates faster. But it's so inexpensive you can definitely afford to reapply! Definitely an excellent choice if you can't afford the real thing, or don't want to spend a fortune on cologne.

The product does exactly what it is supposed to do .... It makes you smell nice!!

The reason I gravitated to this Aqua, was because I had been a long time user of Tommy Bahama Very Cool, which had an incredibly fresh smell and cost about $60 per bottle this size. I stopped buying the Tommy when TB switched to, or licensed their fragrance line to a new bottler who changed the formulation, ruining the great smell of Very Cool (not even being close to the tried and true original). So, I head to Dillards to search for a replacement which might be close to the original TB Very Cool. Thus, I discovered and switched to Armani's Aqua Di Gio Essenza, even though it was outrageously expensive (but would last all day and through the night, up until taking a shower the next morning). The Essenza was over $100 per bottle at the size of this Aqua H2O, but needing only one squirt on the back of my hand to rub onto both sides of my face, the bottle lasts a very long time, since the fragrance is incredibly strong and one can overdo it easily. So, to fill in the gaps and not use the Essenza every day, I switched to this Aqua H2O for knock around the house use because it had a very clean, crisp, and fresh smell like the Tommy Bahama and the Essenza.So I have been happily buying this Aqua, since 2014, even though it has gone up a little from $10 in 2014 to $14 now. BUT, sadly, I will never buy it again, because I just received a new bottle, while still having about a third of an older bottle left, from the last time I bought it. And it is HORRIBLE. It smells like Johnson's Baby Powder, literally. Obviously a different source is fabricating and bottling this, as evidenced by the change of the bottle itself and a slight change in color of the liquid inside, having a faint green tint to it. This is not even remotely close to what it should be. It is definitely not the industry wide, classic Aqua genre of fresh scents.The pictured bottle on the left is what I have been getting since 2014 and the bottle on the right is the lousy junk you will now receive when ordering this. Note the changes in the look of the brand name and also the omission of the text at the bottom of the older bottle. This new bottle is going straight into the trash since fragrances are non returnable. Besides, I wouldn't even put it on a baby, where it truly belongs with the powder on their butt.

This product does smell very good but it does not smell like aqua di Gio and only lasts a few hours. I do recommend this because it does smell good but if you’re looking for the amazing smell of aqua di Gio just buy a bottle of the real stuff.

For all those complaining about the scent and saying it does not smell like the real one, well that's easy to fix ya cheap bastards go buy the real deal but here ya get a nice scent for an affordable price plain and simple. You want the real one then pony up the money ya negative Nancies!

Smells nice. I have auqua di gio, and it doesn't smell like it. More rubbing alcohol smell, doesnt last long like the real stuff.
