These are capsules which I love. I'd much rather give a pill (with a little cheese around it so it's like a treat) than dump meds in food which dogs often don't like. It also is NOT a chew - thank Heaven. Chews have a lot of ingredients I don't want to give my dog and many of them bother his stomach. These work out very well. My dog does not tolerate hyaluronic acid and bovine or chicken sources of collagens, etc. He does tolerate this and if he stays on it, he is much more comfortable and agile.I hope the company continues to offer these!

We needed some joint health help for long backs - but one of my boys has sensitivities to so many products - so we tried these pure green lipped mussel capsules. Wow, what a difference they make! My oldest dachshund now runs and plays like a puppy again. I started giving these to my young dachshund now as well as prevention against any future back issues. My pups love these capsules - they just crunch them right up like a treat. You can empty the capsules as well is you'd prefer right onto their food. I really can't recommend this product highly enough - it has certainly made fantastic improvements in my pups. They are a little pricer than some other options - but I'm confident in the purity of this product (no fillers) and that come from a quality manufacturer in New Zealand.

I gave these to my 11 year old Airedale for the last year of his life. He seemed better able to settle down and rest, and also he seemed to have more energy and actually ran around a bit compared to before he was taking them. It was easy to open the capsule and add it to his food, and he seemed to like the taste, or at least not notice it.

Not sure how this product worked. I switched to standard herbs (vortex) for my dog and it does a much better job. Not saying anything good or bad about the product just found something that worked better for stiffness in my dog.

My cat is 6 years old now and was looking a bit tentative about jumping around as much.A friend suggested I try some green-lipped mussel powder as an anti-inflammatory, and this was inexpensive and had good reviews.I open a capsule and mix the powder into her breakfast each morning. She actually seems to like the taste, and seems more comfortable jumping around again.One capsule seems to do the trick for my 8 pound cat, though according to the label I could give her twice that, if and when she needs it.I would recommend this product for any aging cat or dog who might need a little boost from arthritis, but doesn’t need major medical intervention.

Not sure if it works. Just started using them. Like the small size and low smell. These are better than the less expensive brand that I just purchased. The jury is still out whether they help - but it’s worth a try.

My 11yr old Havanese developed a bit of a limp last winter. I’m still not sure of it was an injury or most probably arthritis and the vet said the same when I took him in. The vet had a product that she highly recommended (also based on seafood extract) but the cost was $$. I did a bit of research on Amazon and found this one and supplemented it with a mobility formula for joint support. After 3 weeks the limp was totally gone and has not come back. He’s a picky eater so I sprinkle the content of the capsule in his food. I recommend giving a try to this product as I think it makes a difference. I will continue to use it to keep my dog healthy and happy.

I recently purchased this product at the recommendation of my Vet. My Sheltie, who is 12 years old, has an old injury (torn ligament) and suffers from arthritis. She takes glucosamine and chondroitin with MSM. My Vet recommended adding the green mussel to her therapy. So far, so good. I open the capsule and put the powder on her food. She takes it just fine. I rated the flavor as a 5 star, as Penny doesn't have a problem consuming it. I haven't tasted it, so I can't give you my opinion on it. She doesn't limp, so I think it's helping.
