I usually never take time to review anything but as I was using this tonight, I committed to posting a review. This device is not only versatile, it’s easy to use and better yet, easy clean up. If you want to make quick, clean and healthy baby food; this is your device. If you want to make hard boiled eggs real quick without boiling; this is the way. I love this thing.

I steamed the veggies just fine but the blender didn’t work. Very disappointing. Waste of money.

Upon first using, the steamer worked great but we couldn’t get the blender to spin. After all the trouble shooting failed we emailed customer service… we had a working replacement within a week!

UPDATE after using it for few months:I'm dropping 1 start due to a blender. It works, but capacity is so small and it takes multiple attempts to blend food. Blade just isn't large enough to really chop/blend it well. I ended up using my Ninja I have at home for blending and I put away the blender. At least you can separate a blender from the steamer and store it away.PRO:1. I use this to warm water for my little one's bottle every day. Works really well.2. You can steam couple different ingredients at the same time.3. It catches broth so I can use it when blending it.4. Easy to clean, just throw everything in a dishwasher.5. You can cook rice in it. I put rice in a small glass container with water and place it in a steamer. Cooks it really well!CON:1. Weak blender. Although it has 3 different speed, it doesn't matter. Highest setting is still not enough power.2. It's hard to transfer steamed food once done. Steam basket comes off so you can't just take the unit to pour into blender. You have to scoop it out.OVERALL, I am happy with my purchase and I use it every day. I wish I bought is sooner so I could've used this as a bottle warmer early on.So far so good! I was debating between this and Beaba babycook pro. But this one seems to be more versitile at a better price. The only thing inferior to Beaba is probably the design. This brand is quite compact, smaller than I expected which is good. I only used it once so far, but it does what it claims to do. It is large capacity and very easy to use. I like that you can steam and blend at the same time. And cleaning is so easy since you can just throw everything in a dishwasher! Instruction manual lists cooking time for different ingredients which is helpful. I can see having separate baskets coming in handy once I start cooking multiple ingredients. I hope it doesn't break down any soon even though it has lifetime warranty! Hopefully I can keep 5 starts review after multiple use in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I was so skeptical about this product at first. But I decided to get it. I read all the reviews a lot of them said it’s hard to clean and it’s very inconvenient. Let me tell you that’s not the same experience for me.It is so convenient to have this machine. I can make purées for my baby so much easier and faster. And it’s not difficult to clean; as long as you do it right after you use it, you’re good. I don’t typically review items, but this deserves over five stars.Prior to having this machine I used to have like multiple pot on the stove and trying to do it and it was so discouraging. To the point where I did not want to make purées or my own food for the baby. And this machine makes it a lot easier for me that has been my experience so far. I am even able to make purées during the week which was not possible before. convenience is key!So stop thinking about it and get it and believe me, it will make your life a lot easier.

Update:4/2/19After using this for less than 6 months, using it weekly, sometimes twice a week now, and starting out using it once every two weeks, it has had a malfunction where the numbers flickered and would not register to work. It also would sound as though the blender was going to blend, but not turn the blade. Disappointed since we still need it but it is not working. Also be careful with the steam, it runs out of water before the harder items like sweet potatoes are steamed all the way, and all the food in the trays have to be lifted off so more water can be added to the steamer to finish making the food soft enough to blend. We have burnt our hands even when being careful.Original post:We love using this and being able to prepare baby food for our son, who has been using purées for 2 months now. It is easy to use and easy to clean. We also use the steamer for our family dinner by throwing some fresh garlic and different veggies in the steamer and it turns out great and is quick to use. The food it makes always turns out great with a perfect cook. It is easy to alter the times for food that needs longer to steam to get soft. I took off a star because if you need to steam something longer than 30 minutes (like sweet potatoes), you can only set the time to 30 minutes because it is the max, so you have to go back and add the additional time later. Also for longer steaming times, sometimes more water has to be added to the bottom and the trays have to be lifted to do that, and my husband and myself have both gotten burned by the steam when trying to get more water added so the food could finish cooking. Another downfall is that after a couple months use, the button to push down to purée the food has gotten stuck, where when the blender portion is attached, the button will not release and the blade continues to spin. The product warned to not purée constantly and to do it no longer than 5 seconds, so this results in a problem. We use this frequently, several times a week, for about 3 months total, and it is already showing concerns, so I am not sure if it will continue to last for all our baby food and family steaming needs.
