My wife loves puzzles and I bought this on a whim. Took her a week to make and she loved it the whole way.

I was going to give a three star review but when I got to the finish of the project the lights didn’t work despite having had its tab in place. When I removed the tab it still did not work. I requested a new piece but they did not respond. The lights were part of why I bought the project. There were other issues.The mini blocks have 2 challenging qualities. They require some force to get them to attach. Despite that they easily pop off. Those two things creates a problem in the construction design. Several of the crucial structural areas of attachment were only supported by one dot. Several times in the construction while applying the necessary force to connect two constructed parts the entire thing broke down in pieces. The only option would be to start over or reconstruct it the best you can creatively redesigning it. After several attempts I chose the later. The other issue is with the directions. It comes with literally 2 books. Despite such detail the instructions are not clear. The distinction of colors and angles is difficult to see. It is also difficult to see where new pieces are attached to old. That’s not all some errors were made in the number of pieces required, notably if you wish to use the spring version of the project where it does not match the green version. I gave this two stars because the attention to detail of the subject matter and the overall finished look is very nice/cute. Also all needed pieces were given plus extra. If you decide to brave getting this project I highly recommend considering it as a one time construction and using super glue and 5 minute epoxy gluing as you go when you’re sure the pieces are positioned correctly. Also be prepared the lights may not be functioning and that you may need to make creative adjustments.

My granddaughter wrote me that she loves this and has spent all day Christmas building it.

So I have been on a Legos binge lately and I saw this design and thought it was gorgeous and I loved the design with all its detail and charm. Don’t be fooled! Nothing sits flush, there are parts missing, seekingly no customer service number, instructions are absolute garbage, and every time you try to add a piece a thousand other things break! This was a huge disappointment and I have pieces of it together it is send it back and ask for my money back, please head my warning and do not waste yours. Lego is far superior in every easy.

Good quality. Less expensive than the big name brand brick toys, but it looks nice when done, and it wasn't hard to do.

Honest review:This is a beautiful set. I have no photos of it completed and cannot speak to the LEDs, as explained below.Brick size and type is very obviously knock off lego, however they are VERY soft. So soft, that you really only have one, sometimes two, chances to put a piece together. Each time you remove a piece it warps a little, so be certain each piece is the right one.This same softness also means you have to make sure each piece is firmly connected.BE WARNED. Some of the final steps include some ball socket pieces, and these are the only hard plastic.If you are not careful and have someone help stabilize the piece you will wind up with as pictured.Enough pieces came off damaged that I cannot get it back together, and unfortunately it was in the last 10 steps, but otherwise I truly loved the design.

It was a bd present for my granddaughter and she loves it

This is an absolutely beautiful tree house that I thought my 11 year old daughter would love. She loves the mini building blocks and anything with too few of pieces is not a challenge for her anymore so I thought this would be the perfect next build for her.This comes in a very nice, giftable, box. I always like a box with a picture of the build on it because if we love it, we often will purchase them again if we need a gift for someone. This is also a super heavy set! It's got to be one of the heaviest sets we've ever received. The instruction manual is huge and perfectly laid out. My daughter is a whiz at building block sets so she can usually read, and decipher, most of the instruction manuals she comes across. This manual has large, color coded pictures, and easy to decipher until it comes to the cherry blossom portion....that gets a little challenging. The bricks come in a number of different bags. They are sorted by color/size and not necessarily what order you will use them in. They are good quality, also. We had a few that we had problems snapping together and keeping them together. When we have that issue we tend to rotate the bricks or just swap them with a different brick of the same size/color and that usually helps. With these tiny bricks my kids always have a pair of tweezers nearby for those tiny pieces and for stickers. The main portion of the tree house went well, it was the branches and cherry blossoms that gave my daughter a little trouble. In those areas things start to get thin and flimsy and it's hard to put the cherry blossoms on without something popping off. I did help her through the last portion of it because those darn cherry blossoms sure do hurt your fingers when you are trying to pop them together. We loved how you could choose between pink blossoms or green leaves. What a fun way to incorporate a custom build to your building block set. The lights are also a beautiful touch and my daughter loved that part. She enjoys turning them on, when her room is dark, and watching it glow. She absolutely loved all of the little animals and she gave them homes not necessarily where they were supposed to go. Ha! That was part of the fun with this build, so she could really make it her own and customize it. This was definitely a fun set but a little delicate.I highly recommend this set as long as you have a little patience and are used to working with mini bricks. There are a lot of bricks in this set and it is a super fun challenging build. We loved it!
