This is just Epsom salts, the same stuff you bathe in, or some people use as a laxative. It is great for plants as it helps them absorb nutrients from the soil. You can look up on line the appropriate amounts to use, and how often, based on plant size and whether or not the plant is in a container. I love what it has done for my plants especially citrus and gardenias. hope this helps
