Windscreen sealant that actually works.
I purchased this sealant to fix a small but annoyingly persistent leak in the corner of my windscreen. With only a single application the product fixed the problem. No more wet carpets!! Very good value for money.

Worked for 2 months, now leaks and the presence of this sealant isn't well received
61 plate Volvo xc60 with wet front passenger footwell. Took windscreen trim off and used two tubes around two sides and top of screen. V pleased, footwell then dry but after 2 months it’s v wet again. Took the car to two different specialist vehicle window fitters. Both said the same ‘worst decision you could have made using silicone’ Apparently silicone can etch into surfaces and unless it is completely removed by abrading off the top coat of paint and a specialist primer used, new bonding agent will not stick.Apparently the original screen bond was failing and now unsafe.Going to replace as not a lot more than refit, but costing more due my use of this sealant.
