I purchased this mugger Fogger for home/office defense and the smaller belt clip model for EDC. This big mugger Fogger is great for home/office defense or for outdoor use. If you dog walk in an area with wild animals or aggressive dogs, this can holds more than enough spray for multiple threats. The canister shoots a 30-35 foot fog spray that spreads out about 6 feet in diameter. The longer you hold down the button, the further the fog travels. I keep one by our bedside and a second can by the front door. Would easily drive out multiple intruders. This is more effective than a skinny stream of gel that requires pinpoint aiming directly at the open eyes of an attacker. With fog, you just aim it in the direction of the attacker and the fog is easily inhaled and gets in the eyes and lungs. The safety wedge is easy to release and has a nice retention cord that retains the safety when it’s removed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a larger pepper gas spray with increased output and distance.

This BIG Mugger Fogger UDAP Pepper Power w/Holster is pretty big and I wonder how comfortable you could carry it around. It does have a holster & glow in the dark safety clip, but the size is still a little intimidating. I haven't had to use it yet, so I can't attest to the 35 ft spray range or its MC Rating, but I trust it to do it's job, so we'll see when the time comes.

I ordered this to carry while out walking, since there have been bear sightings and activity in my area. Because of the size, it does come with an attachment to hook onto pants or a belt, although it's not too big/heavy to carry in my hand. I also take it with me when driving alone or at night. It is good to know that I can take it on a trip in my checked luggage.As others have noted, I hope I never have to use it, but I'm glad to have it just in case.

Includes Fogger and Holster.Going to be frank, I haven't used this. I hope I never have to, but with all be bear sightings of late in TN, this just seems like a natural selection. Big, Bulky, American made, and less likely to spook folks in a crowd if you pull this out to defend yourself. Holster is sold plastic and it fits neatly on my belt. Instructions make it sound easy enough to use. Dont want to waste it trying for when I need it. Like I said before, I would carry extra weight and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Rating this is difficult, because I hope to never need to use it! However, like airbags and seatbelts in my cars, these are important safety devices that are better to have and not need – than to need and not have. I carry, or have nearby, a firearm 99% of the time. This pepper spray provides me a non-lethal deterrent method useful in certain circumstances.I especially like the fact this is a “fogger” and not a pin-point spray like many other similar products. I’ve seen spray devices used in panic situations with zero effectiveness, due to not being able to hit the face and eyes of an assailant while both parties are moving. With a fogger, versus a “water pistol like stream”, one simply sprays in the general area and any assailants will likely be hit. The advertised 35’ range is also far superior to most products. In the defensive firearms community, it is well known that an attacker can close a distance of 21-feet before most people can drawn and fire an aimed shot from a handgun. With a 35’ spray range, one can safely deploy a non-lethal deterrent before needing to deploy a lethal one.I hope to never need this – but am glad to have it!

Received it today! Hopefully I wont need it, but knowing i have it is a great feeling. Great for riots, bar fights jail cell riots etc.

This is one of those things that is good to have but you hope you are never in a situation where you have to use it. Whether it's a mean mugger or an angry momma bear, if an emergency arises this ought to send the attacker running in the opposite direction fast. It is a must have when hiking out in the woods and in some urban areas as well. You just can't be too safe these days and this jumbo fogger is just what you need to keep attackers of any kind at bay whether they have four feet or two feet. The price is very reasonable for such a large can of pepper spray and it has a handy holster that will clip right onto your belt.
