Our 5 year old loves this boat. The slow speed makes it easy to learn how to steer. Once he had that down he switched tot he high speed and spent two days playing with it in the swimming pool. Excellent battery life and the lights were a big hit once the sunset.

The boat worked well for 2 days in the pool. After the second day, the boat quit working. I re-charged the boat battery, and replaced the control batteries, and it still doesn't work. Having it quit after limited use is unacceptable. At first I gave one star for the reasons mentioned above. The problem has now been resolved by the seller sending me a new boat which works properly. Hopefully it will continue to work after continued use.

Fun to use around the pool or pond. Lights up and husband plays like a kid.

This is perfect for playing in a small pool or pond with two different speeds, the ability to right itself after flips, and waterproofing. I gave it 3 stars because the propellers are attached to their screws with a bolt and glue, and the glue already came off one of the propellers. While extra propellers and bolts are provided, glue isn't and I am questioning the long term durability on this boat.

Got it for my 14 year old, its great for gift and it has long lasting battery life. The speed is slower so it would be better for younger kids. But its good functionality and very easy to use. My kids had fun with it.

The only reason this received 4 stars & not 5 is that 1 propeller didn’t work. I received a response from the manufacturer within a few days. I received a new replacement boat 5 days after I sent a video of the problem.

My 8-year-old enjoyed playing with this.
