The texture is well done on the metal gold model, I can't speak to the other models.The sound of the water is pleasing to the ears and the pump is basically silent. I've let it run over night and didn't need to urgently refill it.Overall, it works well, no issues to report after using it for about a week. The value far exceeds the $40 price point.

The LED lights don’t even fit in their designated slots, meaning they fall directly into the water—which is a terrible idea for something involving electricity. Not exactly the "zen" I was hoping for, unless "zen" now means "mild panic attack."Also, it doesn’t come with a plug—just a USB. Because, of course, nothing says "high-quality" like forcing me to find my own way to power this potential safety hazard.And now, as the final insult, I have to wait for everything to dry before I can even pack it back up to return it. The media could not be loaded. I like this little fountain a lot. It’s pretty and looks great with my plants. It was extremely easy to put together. I took photos of it in the daytime and nighttime. This is the gold resin one. My only complaint is the LED lights are too orange. I’d like it better with a warm white light. But still super cute. No splashing out onto the table, either. The water sound is subtle.
