Only very few pages booklet. Could be better. If I knew so, I would have got the Kindle version, for two bucks. Cost me 8 in printed edition.

I am a chronic pain sufferer. I also have friends who have cancer. You may ask how can I compare the two. This brief book puts proper perspective on cancer and any physical pain or chronic illness. Piper gives us hope instructing us to see God’s purpose in cancer or suffering - and all is an opportunity to witness. This book helps us to see cancer as an awful blessing, awful from this world’s perspective but a potential blessing as witness to the Father’s love, in how we walk through it.

My wife was recently diagnosed with cancer and I needed help to apply my faith to this new reality. This is a very short, superb, booklet. It begins with miraculous healing but makes it clear that is only one way Jesus is glorified through cancer. Piper outlines another eleven, giving more or less a single page to each. This is an advantage as it makes repeated reading very easy to do!Piper is a cancer survivor. More importantly, he loves Jesus more than life. This book has pointed me repeatedly to Jesus and hammered truth into my heart. At a time of great uncertainty Piper has pointed me again and again to the Rock upon which my family stand. I am certain he can do the same for you.

Short. You can read it in 10 minutes. But packed with wisdom. I read it most every day to help me Center my heart and mind in this battle with cancer.
