Wusthof Grand Prix 6 Piece Starter block set

Bought these for my husband and he loves the sharpness and weight/balance of the knives. Not to heavy but solid and easy to handle. Classic look with the knife block. Highly recommend!

I brought this set after a lot of research for my husband as he is a keen cook.Set comes very well presented/packaged and looks fabulous in our kitchen.Top quality knives and extremely sharp...!!Very pleased with the price and quick delivery.

Very impressed. Gave 5 stars for durability but early days. Expecting the usual high standard from German manufactured products. Seriously great set of kitchen knives. The weight, balance, feel and look oozes quality.

This is a truly excellent knife set. Good quality steel, good balance, and very sharp out-of-the-box. Very much worth the investment. Only small complaints. The sharpening steel is not a tapered steel as advertised, but is instead a straight steel. The block is also a bit crowded, such that if you orient the big chef's knife with the blade facing left, you'll constantly run it against the handle of the sharpening steel. Other than that, I absolutely love it and still give it a very good rating. The knives themselves are certainly worth 5 stars!

Dents in my knives already. Cheap plastic handles!

I purchased these to replace a carbon steel set which were difficult to sharpen.This set is solid, comfortable to use and is undoubtedly a quality product. I particularly like the design of the shears that separate to ensure ease of cleaning. For me, I expected the knives to be razor sharp but didn't really notice the difference between the much cheaper knives I had previously purchased. To be fair I haven't resorted to sharpening them myself yet as they are still very new but I was a little disappointed.
