This tail is beautiful, flowing, heavy and doesn't feel cheap at all. It's better quality than most of the other ones I've seen at halloween shops for twice as much. IT's quite long, but you could easily cut it down to a shorter size. Easy to brush. I have no critiques at this time; but I've only used it a couple times for my little kiddo so I can't attest to how it holds up over time. Still, at this point, I'm very happy with it.

I wasn't expecting too much for the price. I wanted something fun to feel like the ponytail I wore when I was younger. Boy was I surprised! I paid nearly $100 for a piece I like less and can't wear as well! If you are looking for something fun to last an event and maybe more this is the one. I like it so much I'm looking at more of the same brand! I didn't rate heat resistance as I haven't done anything but clean and brush it. It took that well.

This clip on hair worked well for a workday Rainbow Dash halloween costume. I have very thick hair, and the clip was too small to clip onto my ponytail, so I had to clip it over/above my ponytail, and just let me hair down to go beneath the wig. You could definitely see my hair as the wig hair wasn't as thick as the picture indicates. I was fine with that, but just keep in mind for all my fellow thick-haired individuals. If I was doing a cosplay/ going convention, I would probably go with a full length head-covered wig. Worked well for the casual workday halloween attire! I stored it on a shelf with the hair down, and it did tangle a bit between purchasing and halloween. As long as you try and keep it straight somewhere or in the packaging, it should stay detangled.

I am super pleased with this hair piece! I ordered it to “try it out” thinking the $10 prime price seemed very reasonable…it has surpassed my hopes and expectations! The colors are vibrant, and the clip has a strong clasp, but not too strong to be unmanageable. My daughter will be wearing it over a high ponytail for our Pride parade today. Of course, it is synthetic and not real hair, so it will tangle easily…but that is not a fault of the product - that is to be expected with any synthetic “hair” type item. With basic care (not throwing it in a pile; hanging it safely to avoid tangling; not doing flips while wearing it…), this piece will be able to be used multiple times.

I needed a tail to go as a unicorn for Halloween, and this fit the bill. The reviews all suggested it tangles up very easily. So, with that in mind I carefully unpackaged the hairpiece and removed the banana clip to turn it into a belt attachment. During the process I bumped it and as expected I ended up with a massive tangle. Note to Self: Put clips on the ends to hold everything in place while you work with it. It took a while, but I eventually got everything untangled. More mishaps happened resulting in more tangles. But I got those untangled. I knew this was going to be a messy problem, and I also didn't want to end up leaving colored hairs all over the party host's house. So, I turned the hair into lots of small braids, complete with an embedded length of yarn I used to tie off the ends (I needed something that wouldn't slip off the ends). The endeavor was a success! No tangles, no mess! It did give the hairpiece a bit of an ethnic look, and I didn't get a fantastical flowing effect that a unicorn deserves, but I also avoided a costume disaster.So, to other users: tie ribbons or use barrettes/hair ties on it to hold it all together as you remove it from the packaging, get everything fixed up, and then only remove the ties/barrettes at the last possible minute. For longer term or re-usable wear, put it into a braid or something first. If you don't care about tangles and a mess, wear it and have fun, and then discard it.

I bought this for my daughter's my little pony costume. It has very bright colors, very flowy, soft and it's easy to attach. She loves it. At first she complained of it being to heavy but she got used to it pretty quickly

Very pretty, but tangles way too easily

I actually bought this hairpiece to use for rooting a doll's hair. It feels so soft and luxurious!! I think it would be perfect and super fun for a Pride Parade!! I'm very happy with this item. I was also happy that it arrived faster than expected.
