Pecron 500W Car Charger for Cars, RVs, Trucks, etc.

Installed this in my Rubicon 4XE & it works perfect. When the 4XE is not running it does not charge with the default setting. Soon as I start the 4XE up, it starts charging at 520-530 watts.

Working good so far after replacement. No other issues. Exchanges was fast. Pecron also followed up with support.

You need a suitcase for all the cords and adapters for their power stations. I recently purchased two S1000 units and this fast charger only to discover that the latter doesn't come with a 4-pin connector. I purchased a separate cable that looked like it should work, but the $25 cable is a 5-pin variant that doesn't work with my S1000 units Pecron uses lots of different connectors and doesn't seem to consider the complexity and inconvenience for their customers. They should make an effort to standardize their connectors, but then they wouldn't sell as many cables.

Before I bought this, I burned out a bunch of accessory cables, plugs, and fuses trying to charge my 1500 Flash power station while driving. I can't rely on my solar panels or plugging into ac outlets while traveling. This unit is remarkable! Now I can charge my two power stations at the same time while driving. I don't have to worry about my accessory outlets melting or catching fire. Now, I can use my refrigerator, computers, lights, fans, phone etc with no worries about losing power or trying to find power to charge everything.Yes, it's a bit tricky to install, but it's pretty straightforward and they give you plenty of cable to work with.I highly recommend this Pecron 500w charger. I'll keep you posted if anything changes in the future.
