Q: Does this product work in both fresh and salt water? I have a freshwater tank that has always had issues with nitrates.

So far this product has not worked for me at all. I've followed all the instructions for 4+ weeks, but so far I've had no measurable reduction in nitrate. in my test system

Q: Can I use this in my marine land filter basket with the ceramic or black ball media?

This media should not be combined with any other type of media. This media will be consumed and needs to be replenished. Also for best results it should not be static in a basket or mesh bag but instead constantly, gently tumbled.

Q: Will this harm freshwater plants?

I think they are plants safe, but if u have a planted tank, then u should not worry about Nitrate

Q: How come i cannot have this item shipped to california anymore? i have purchased it before. anyone else having similar issues?
