I tried to downsize the library in the playroom and donated all the books to the school. Especially as my little one was learning through books so wanted something smaller that he could place some books in and choose one or two for bed and this was the perfect size and also he loved being able to help put it together because it is literally 10 screws with five on either side and he was super proud of himself at the end. It holds a decent number of books as long as they're thin and it is still a material not wooden shelves so sometimes they tilt and the books lean forward so you need to ensure there are sturdier ones at the back. It's ideal for a toddler playroom or the bedroom just to have a little selection of books as opposed to kalax units or shelves. The child can access them easier and choose their own book. You can also donate books easier because you can see when you're getting more coming in as opposed to continually putting them on a Shelf or in a bigger unit.

This bookshelf has been a great addition to my son’s room. He had so many books so this shelf has been brilliant in organising them. It has made it look really tidy and is so easy to choose a book for story time.Easy to put together, very strong and a really good size.

The shelves are material. Who would want a child’s furniture to be material??If my child gets it dirty, (WHICH THEY WILL!) I’ll have to disassemble to wash the shelving material AND THEN it probably will not reassemble because it is cheaply made and the nail holes won’t fit the nails again.I wish I had sent back before starting to assemble.

Didn’t realise it was material as the shelves if I knew probably wouldn’t have bought it as it does look fairly cheap in person, but it was easy to assemble and fairly cheap so can’t complain too much.
