A must for all trucks and prep people.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Availability was the main target. For quick securing of a tent or even holding down a tarp on a truck. Worthy of taking up space in your bug out bag. I wish I had these while on active duty when I’d live in the field for weeks on end.

Strong hold; Easy release: Recommended.
I am using these to tension volleyball nets at a public park for a league I play in once a week. (See photo.)They are light weight, and have a strong grip with an easy release.Much less bulky than ratchet straps and more effective than bungee cords. Was able to cut (and melt the ends of) the cord to get four ~4’ long straps.Need to get more paracord to put the remaining two that came in the set to use.Haven’t had them long, but so far: recommended.

GREAT Tie-Downs!
I have ratchet straps, as well as several other rope tie-downs, and this one is AWESOME! Easy to use. Quick! Easy to un-do! Just simply one of the best options if the size suits your needs. We use it to tie up carpet for camping, all my rope tie-downs to keep them together, and to tie down the umbrella stand and awning to the deck to hold those secure.

Amazing grip
Excited to put these to use! I have been playing with them and the grip seems to be pretty solid. Love that they came with a good amount of cord. Looking forward to putting these to good use.

good product
Good for a quick tiedown of lightweight stuff. I'd recommend swapping out the cord that comes with them for higher quality 550 cord which works better.

Very small. Very well built.
Wil be using these with Paracord 550 to tie down tent guy lines and other purposes. Firstly, if you are looking at this, you know you can essentially perform the same task with a variety of knots like a prusik. The disadvantage to knots is that you - 1 need to know how and be efficient to be practical, 2 in most situations, you need the right length of rope for a specific tie down. These solve both 1 and 2 above and provide a tremendous ease of use. The out of the box experience is 5 of 5. They are tiny and light but very well built. Surprisingly so. I buy a lot of gadgets and honestly at 7-8 dollars a piece they should be great. But still, they exceeded by expectations. One reviewer said they didn't fit paracord, which is absolutely false. 550 has room to spare and I believe a 5mm 850 paracord would fit, but I can't speak to the spring latch retention which may be the concern. With 550 paracord the retention is VERY strong. Just playing with it, I can not force it to slip with my hands and very hard pull. The hook latch also provides even more clearance, but depending on what you might want to clip it too, size may be a challenge. There are two 10 ft paracords provided (nice paracord actually) and the little case is designed perfectly to hold all 6 and seems almost over engineered. They case will last.Very satisfying purchase. Will keep a eye on sale price to purchase again.

Fantastic
These are a whole new level of convenience. Especially if you camp or do outdoor things that require you to use tent stakes, put up tarps, or anything like that. Currently using these on my camping trip and they save me so much time vs tying taught-line hitches on all my stake poles and etc

Knot for everyone
I saw these somewhere and I thought they would be handy for backpacking. When I received them I thought they were too small to be used as anything but hold a tarp as a lean to - I was wrong. The line is 1/8” supposedly stronger than paracord. It is. I was digging out a stump a used those to hold back roots so I didn’t break my PVC sprinkler line. I power washed an outdoor carpet then used these to hang the wet carpet. The carpet soaking wet was approximately 65 pounds. I used 2 of these to for a make shift clothesline. When I added the rug to the line I just had to pull the line until the rug was off the ground. I had to really pull and the lines were extremely taut. So taut that I figured these little marvel’s would slip. 2 days later no slipping and the rug was dry. The only drawback was I had tightened them so much that they couldn’t be released by hand I had to use a plier to gently press the release mechanism (I did want to mar the SS finish.) They worked much better’s than any knot I have ever tied. Here’s a tip: buy extra lengths of cord. It comes with cord but in my case I needed about a 30’ span I had the foresight to buy an extra 50’.
