Old Fashion Bread Pan
Works well with bread recipes that require something similar to this pan. I had not notice the holes underneath the pan until I baked a bread.

Pans are good. Heat safe mittens melt.
Just got the pans today. Making my first loafs of bread in them. So far the pans are good. The heat protection mittens however, melt. I didn’t buy this product for the mittens that come with it. I was mainly looking for the pans, which so far are good. Just don’t hold a lot of trust in the mittens unless you want to get burned.

Do you own 50 lbs of bread flour?
I own fifty pounds of bread flour. What can I say, I was at the local restaurant supply store, the price was unbelievably good, and boy do I like to cook (at least that's what I tell my wife after my excellent purchase). I needed a way to utilize that fifty pounds of flour. BAM! Pullman loaf pans! And I must admit, I like them. I normally bake pretentious sourdough artisan bread using the inverted Dutch oven method. It's a good crusty bread - give it a try if you haven't yet - but sometimes I just want a nice PB&J sandwich bread. I've tried using glass bread pans, but that bread wasn't ever uniform - overly crusty tops and soft bottoms. Peanut butter and soft bottoms don't go together well. Then came along the Mr. Pullman (or Mrs. Pullman, let's not get sidetracked) and his bread pans. All I can say is "Nice." Perfectly square sandwich bread. Firm, yet still supple, bread crusts but not with that pretentious dutch oven crust. Light golden brown crusts with excellent crumb. My Mr. Peanut peanuts began to turn themselves into butter just to get next to that crumb. Excellent for grilled cheese sandwiches too! Pro tip learned from those tv baking networks: add a little oil to the sides of the pan and line it with parchment paper and life is good.

Pans are great.
The pans seem well made, heavier than I expected, and the lid and pans fit together well. The nonstick works perfect. I really like to the sizes as I am the only one eating my bread. The 1 LB pan works perfect for standard loaf and the 1/2 pan works great for sweet breads as I don't eat as much. I was however disappointed in the oven mitts, and I recommend not using them. They will melt and discolor your pans. Also, at 350 degrees it did not take long for the heat to transfer to your hands. I did not buy for the mitts so I will be keeping the pans.

Wife uses daily
My wife recently had a new obsession with making sourdough. She uses this thing every single day. As she dirties, the kitchen 47 hours to make one loaf of bread. I am slowly getting weight by eating a lot of bread.Because she kept telling me, sourdough, it's better for me.This is a great kitchen tool
