This is a great deal! I ordered it with the intent of inspecting it before deciding if I was going to keep it or return it. Since MacGregor is not one of the major glove manufacturers I wasn't sure about the construction quality or the leather. First, this is an all leather glove. Palm and finger linings are also leather. Laces are leather and good quality. The glove also has just the right amount of padding to handle hard hit ground balls, but not so much that the player doesn't feel the ball. I can't speak to how well this glove holds up over the long term as I've only had it for a few days, but the construction and leather quality indicate it should last a long time as long as it is well taken care of. The wrist opening has a velcro adjustable strap for smaller hands. My son is 12 years old and has smaller hands and this glove fits him very well.
