I really liked this item. I used it for a gift and I was able to put quite a few things in it. It was sturdy and actually felt nice to hold. It looked lovely too. My only gripe is that they could have included a bit of straw like thing to pad the bottom and add to the presentation. Thankfully I had some from a gift bag. Overall, it’s worth the money

This is a lovely woven, white cotton rope basket, complete with cellophane gift bag and coloured ribbon, perfect for building your own personalised gift hamper and filling the basket full of treats and gifts for someone special.I’ve ordered this for my daughter who’s newly pregnant. I’m planning on filling it with toiletries for a new born plus a couple of special treats for mum to be.It’s not that large but I’ll be able to stack my products within the rope basket and then build with height as the cellophane wrap will enable this.The basket wasn’t too squashed on arrival and after stuffing it with scrunched up brown packing paper it soon regained its shape within 48hrs.I’m going to really enjoy filling this, it’s an excellent idea and would be ideal for a Xmas gift !I’m very happy, it’s a cute gift idea.

The basket is a stiff fabric that comes folded down. Instructions are provided to get it back up to its full size (stuff with towels for a period). This is fine and the basket has a decent volume for its size. What I didn’t like was the weave - you can see some gaps - and also the uneven finish at the top. Also the cellophane bag provided is very thin. The basket will be a useful addition for saying storing small baby items but doesn’t look great to use for gifting. Around £12 is not great value when you can get much bigger woven baskets at this price.
