NKJV, Children's Outreach Bible, Softcover, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version Paperback – June 12, 2018

Most children’s Bibles that have the full text of the Bible just have an illustrated cover and a few scattered pictures inside. A few have tons of little inset explanations scattered throughout, but that’s rare in a paperback designed for outreach or for just keeping costs low. This edition is different, and strikes a great balance. It has quite a few colorful illustrations, but it also has separate colorful pages on thicker paper with various helps. This isn’t my preferred translation, although I do like it, but this edition is my go-to for gifts to my Sunday School students, I recommend it to families, and I read it to kids who have started to read on their own because their spoken language usually far outstrips their reading ability. I still love Bible story books for pre-schoolers, but this is a great option for elementary school kids and even a little older.

My daughter is 6, and a strong reader. She has other bibles that paraphrase but she needed one for bible study to teach to look up chapter and verse. I like the pictures it does include and I don't worry about a hard cover bending.

I bought it for my sister-in-law kid for Christmas and the material is great and love the size prints. He is now interested in reading the Bible and I am glad it was a good buy

The print on this bible is very fine and difficult to read. I unfortunately had to return it.

I have a 9 year old granddaughter that will be able to study the Bible at her understanding.
