Q: Two of my lights don't work properly. I bought 3 and 1 is ok, another one the light comes on when you disconnect the lead and the 3rd doesn't work

Im having the same issue ! also on some i bought from Lidl .Im leaving it off plugged up to see if its a charging issue

Yes, but it does not last very long. PIR has a good range, as a deterrent it works well, not a bright light so not intrusive on neighbours. I have three and will be getting some more for my other sheds.

Q: How long is the lead between the light and the solar cell

I have this security Light in my back garden,fixed around a store shed. I would say the lead from light to solar cell is approximately 2 meters.it was easy to fix/install and works well in my experience .Hope this helps.
