Best Waffle Iron I Ever Owned!
The media could not be loaded. Usually when I purchase a waffle iron I would need to use cooking oil to prevent it from sticking and even then it will still slightly stick. Let me tell you how easy and simple this waffle iron is and the waffle came out perfect and crispy! It was fast and quick it literally took 5 mins to cook and lifting it out of the iron was a breeze. After removing the waffle the iron looked as if it was never touched it was super clean! No oozing at all whatsoever, no sticking to the iron and waffle was absolutely delicious with that crisp taste. It was worth the price I don’t regret buying it. The waffle is thick like a perfect Belgian waffle. I’m glad i found this brand it’s hard to get a decent waffle iron I finally got one

Superior product with a worthless timer
I’m highly impressed with this waffle iron. It heats quickly and makes perfect waffles that release easily every time. It takes up very little space on the kitchen counter or in the pantry since it stores vertically. Good engineering. The flange that holds the iron in a vertical position is flimsy and made of plastic. If anything is going to fail on this device it is the flange. If treated gently, this shouldn’t be an issue. As others have mentioned, the timer is worthless. It doesn’t control anything. It’s just a digital timer. Probably was an afterthought in designing this iron. I don’t use it. Just wait until the steam subsides and the waffle is done. All in all, a superior product for home use. The directions are simplistic but understandable. The Classic Waffle Recipe in the book is basic and works well. Highly recommended

Awesome!
Belgian waffles at home! Look, are you looking for a commercial belgian waffle maker? Yes? Then DO NOT buy this product and expect it to be something its not. Buy an actual commercial waffle maker, spend all your money and save your time.I was looking for a regular, at-home, simple to use waffle maker so my husband could have the belgian waffle experience at home. I hate complicated appliances. This waffle maker is wonderful! It beeps when its time to flip it and the timer is for an overall cook time. With the first time using the waffle maker, your first waffle is never going to come out perfect. By the time you've made the second one, your a professional! We started with regular pancake/waffle mix because that's what we had on-hand. However, I do recommend buying an actual belgian waffle mix as it makes a world of difference in the taste and light, crisp experience! Some posters complained of the overall mess and messy clean up. Some posters complained that the timer is for the overall cook time. And less we forget, storage space. Those posts almost caused me to not buy this product. This is what I experienced:1) Its not difficult to figure out how full is TOO full to fill the waffle maker. Don't fill it until its spilling over and you won't have any problem. Mix does not leak or seep out unless you just really fill it to the brim. There is no reason to do that & in fact, your waffle will not cook as well if you do. 2) I've had 0 and I mean NO problems with clean up. Follow the directions in the booklet. All we did was spray the griddles with some PAM and boom. The griddles are non-stick. PAM helps them stay that way. Literally I wipe off the outside of the machine with a wet rag and the inside griddles with a damp paper towel. 3) It does close together and stand upright for storage. It doesn't take up anymore room than a toaster, less in fact. Honestly, this is not something I use everyday, so mine gets put away into the cabinet when not in use. Its not something I'd leave sitting out on my kitchen counter anyway. It cooks evenly, operates as advertised, folds for easy storage, easy cleaning, cools quickly after use and frankly, cooks each waffle perfectly. I am more impressed with this appliance than I thought I would be. For the money I spent.....it was a steal!!!!! Great bargain, exceeded my expectations!

Great Waffles every time!
This Presto Belgian Waffle maker is fantastic. Waffles turn out perfect every time! The only thing I would suggest is a solid handle. Steam gets caught in the handle currently so just be mindful the machine is hot in general.

Price nonsense, but AMAZING product!
This thing is the business!!!I must mention the price nonsense, though. When I purchased this, it was 44 bucks. I spent WEEKS debating, as this is not a price I ever take lightly. Shortly after my purchase, the price dropped ten bucks :( I was SO sad. I sure could have used that price drop. However, this iron is WELL worth what I paid!!! I have never had a waffle iron, but I was obsessed with waffles from the freezer section. I knew these were different waffles, and I'd used a Belgian iron at hotels before, so I knew it was gonna be a good time. Super easy to use, I have NEVER had to clean it yet, and since my recipe has oil in it, I don't even bother with cooking spray. I've had it for just over a month, and I've evven surprised myself with how many waffles I've made in that time!!! After Tday, NOTHING but turkey and waffles was happening in this home.I love that it has a timer, but I don't love that it requires it's own battery, and I have to operate it separately from the iron (unplug the iron and the timer is still going). It's pretty loud, which is also bad for my living situation (because I'm the crazy kid making waffles at 3am, and I freak when it starts beeping haha). Of course, this is me nitpicking and this is really NOT an issue that would be worth missing out on this purchase. If I had a baby who needed to sleep when I used this, then I'd be unhappy. But I can live :)The recipes that come in the booklet are perfect for me! I just cut them down to 1-egg versions, as it takes me a good 2 days to eat that much batter. I only make 1/2 a waffle at a time, pretending I only want that much, and I love how easy it is to pour specific amounts in the spaces provided, so I never have to make more than I plan to have.I have to turn off my heater to use this or else there's an outage in my apartment, but I'm learning to prepare accordingly. All of the low points pale in comparison to my love for this iron!I do nt like very soft waffles, so I leave mine in for about 5 minutes. 6 if I really want them 'crunchy', because I drown them in maple syrup, Sriracha and cinnamon. They get pretty soggy if I make a 1/2 size waffle and eat it at a normal pace, so I have started making 1/4 size waffles to avoid the sog. Which is not really all that bad anyway.Bummer that it has now gone UP ten bucks from what I paid, and all of these pricing changes have happened between Halloween and now. So if money is a big piece of your decision, maybe just wait a month or two and see what happens... just buy a box of frozen ones meanwhile, to say goodbye to frozen waffles forever, because once you get this thing.... ooohohoho. Would I have paid over fifty bucks? No. Is it worth that much if it won't put your rent in jeopardy? ...yes. It actually is. The reviews helped a ton, especially that video review, so make sure to check that out and get excited!
