NITE IZE KRG-03-01 Black Stainless Steel S-Biner Keyring

I previously purchased a similar keyring by a different manufacturer from a local store. The keyring held up for about a year, which I felt was way too short a time period. I replaced the old keyring with this keyring made by Nite Ize, a brand I've come to trust. Check out their Gear Ties - we use them for organizing all sorts of cords (computer cords, device charger cords, ear buds, small appliances, etc.).Anyway, this key ring is great because I can quickly add or remove a key when needed, without having to pry apart a traditional key ring & receiving torn fingernails or sore fingers as a result. It comes with 6 different biners, but holds more than 6 keys. I have my keyring set up as follows: 1 biner for the car fob, 1 for the car key, 1 for my front door key, 1 for my back door key AND my garage key (both are on the bottom part of the biner, not where it clips to the ring), 1 for my car's cargo case, and 1 for my grocery store/pharmacy loyalty cards. So long as you have a regular metal key, you can easily put 2 keys per biner. When I drop off my car for servicing, I unclip the biners with the car's fob and key, and clip the two biners together before handing them over to the staff.All in all, this is the perfect keyring, if you want a keyring that secures your keys, offers easy add/remove access, and doesn't rip up your fingers when trying to add/remove keys.

I've bought 2 sets of these Nite Ize S-Biner key rings. I have a lot of keys, so I needed more of the s-biners than they provided on one ring.I use these in conjunction with the traditional split ring key rings. I take a key and place it on a small split ring then I place the split ring in one side of the s-biner. I do this for each of my keys so I have key in a split ring that I can easily detach from the s-biner. I keep all my keys on the large black ring that these s-biners are shipped with. Because they are so small, I am unable to use these s-biners with large split rings that hold my car remote or alarm system remote, so I just connect them directly to the large black ring.These small s-biners are quite handy. When I take my car in for service, all I have to do is un-clip that single key to give to the dealer. I wear my keys on my belt loop with a large s-biner, so it is also easy to remove keys individually when I don't need my entire key set.Even though these s-biners are plastic, I have had no problem with them accidentally opening and a key dropping off. They seem as sturdy as the large metal s-biner I wear on my belt loop.I'm very pleased with these small s-biners. I've also bought other Nite-Ize products and each of them are quality products that I enjoy.

I use this in conjunction with the "Nite Ize S-Biner KeyRack," which has a carbiner. This stores & organizes my extra keys, letting me carry only the current necessities on the KeyRack. I can swap keys out, add new ones, lend keys - all quick & easy. It also holds other non-key keychains, like a mini tape measure & pill containers. Quality is high; I've never had anything so much as bend. Clips are just the right size for nearly every purpose.

S-biners work really well for carrying a water bottle on your backpack or clipping a camera bag to your main pack for easy access. A larger one (size 1 or 2) is good on your keychain if you want to clip the whole thing to something. Problem with this set of size 0's is that a 0 is small enough that it can be tricky to open and close because the hinged clip portion is very short. And yet, the shape of the s-biner itself means that even a size 0 adds considerable length to the keychain. That's what I mean by too small (to easily open) and too big (six of them add up fast) at the same time.For my purposes, I'll take this apart and use one size 0 in six different places rather than six on one keychain. Its pretty good for keeping a mail key on my key ring so i can detach it when i drive by the mailbox. Given that, the price if this is better than just buying six s-biners in size 0. They do seem well made, so worthy of four stars.

Have used this key chain for several weeks now and have nothing but good things to say (write) about it. I like being able to color code the keys. I have not experienced any problems with losing keys (as some other reviewers have). Seems to be less bulky than my previous key chain, though I will probably add more clips for more keys at some point. Overall, a good product at a good price.

This is a handy little ring. I have some properties and can use the s-biner for carrying all my keys on one ring. If I need to add, I can purchase more s-biners. If I need to give someone a key, it's quickly removed. The ring is solid. The s-biners can twist, resulting in a lost key if the user isn't somewhat cautious. For that reason, I'm dropping it to three stars.

These carabiners are tiny, in case you don't know. it measures 1 1/8 in. by 1/4 in.. The regular sized ones by Nite Ize is 2 1/2 by 1 in. You can fit 1 key in each one, no more. That ring is 1 in. in diameter. It's a solid ring and the six carabiners are hooked onto it. It's neat and its not expensive, and that's the reason for my five stars. iT IS CUTE ... there. It still has the feel of NitIze , except it's so small, that it isn't as easy/smooth as what you'd expect. I like it a lot though.

I've been using different sized Nite Ize S-Biner for years without ever having a problem. They lock tight and are strong as you will need. This size is great to link key chains together so you only have to take what you need. I also use them on hoist ropes for hunting. The plastic is lightweight but strong. The size of these is about the length of a quarter, so it won't fill your pocket. I also keep these hooks clipped to my backpacks so I can attach a flashlight, water bottle, or anything else I need. This is the cheapest way to get a set of hooks since they don't sell a resale or bulk pack.
