Not bulky! No plastic cover
Basic but it does what it is supposed to do. Its not bulky, and without those unnecessary plastic covers that only wealens the lights!Though I was upset to see it half price a day after my purchase, I still love it.People, first learn more about this therapy, how long to use it and how, then you will find it useful.Hope it lasts long!

Helps with my pain
This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased. Read about infrared light therapy so bought one last fall & it really seems to help with my muscle & joint pain in my shoulder. Sent one to my son who was recovering from a pulled hamstring, he said he felt it helped him & my granddaughter used it for cramps. The reason for only 4 stars is due to the fact that I had to replace my 1st one when the wires tore.

Doesn’t last
One star because it was great while it lasted. Lasted exactly 1 month and 1 day. No joke. No longer takes a charge. Super disappointed.

What does it even do?
I give this a star because it turns on and off. Another star because the red lights do turn on. And one more because it is supposed to have 3 different settings and it seems to have those. My biggest hangup with the thing is, does it do anything? I can't feel anything happening and there is certainly no heat. The other hangup is that it has 3 settings, including a flashing one but absolutely no information on when to use each setting or what the numbers even mean. The poor instructions manual says the flashing light setting is 10 Hz. What's that supposed to tell me? I'll use it and if I find pain relief, I'll change my review.

Not as great as initially thought...
This pad was great for a few weeks but then it started shorting out. At first, I thought it was due to low battery but the lights fade in and out even when fully charged (and not on pulse). That and it appears to be getting worse.I am rather gentle with the pad, so I don't see any cause for an electrical short, other than a defect or the wiring was cheaply put together.Unfortunately, with a 30 day return policy and no way to contact the seller or manufacturer through Amazon, I am SOL on this purchase.I recommend not making the same mistake.
