I gave this 5 stars because my 2 nephews aged 14 and 11 spent hours playing with this. There were lots of laughs and the squishy animals were cute! While they are not very durable (at least within an hour of making them), the boys enjoyed the creating process. Perhaps, they are better after the recommended 5 hours of soaking. Know that this may be a long process if your littles want to actually play with the product and that they "may" be disappointed with the quality in the end.

This past Easter my granddaughter shared her magic water elf kit with her cousins and they all had a great time with it. From age 6 to 16, there is eight of them. Since then I have purchased two more sets. It is a great item. All eight of my grandkids have electronic devices so I wanted to thank you for making something special and fun to keep them away from their devices. My brothers grandson is having a birthday next month and this will be the item I will be purchasing for all up coming birthdays. Thank you very much for your product.Nancy Collins

Fun rainy day craft! Just wish there was more colors

Cool craft

I bought this for my daughter’s birthday, she was SO excited to play with it!It had great colors and came with several of them! The molds are cute and easy to work with. The directions are easy to follow, which we followed perfectly!We followed the directions regarding timing, when and how to play with them and everything seemed great … until … we pulled the critters out of the water … my daughter played with them for a little bit and then put them in a baggie. When she came back to them the next morning, they had shrunk and were deformed. We tried a second time not bagging them up after and leaving them in the water a little longer, same result.My daughter does love making these and being creative with the colors, now she basically just plays with them in the water, like water toys until they turn to mush and crumble into pieces. Still fun for her but disappointing considering the hype about this product and how excited my daughter was when she opened it.I’m not sure if others have had the same experience or not but I would love to hear if there is something we can do for these to be able to “live” outside the water.

Wish I had known you had to keep them in water, but it’s a fun little experiment.
