I started using Lume when I started having to have more frequent hospital stays. It became so helpful to have Lume products when I had both knees replaced and showering is limited. When I have a hospital stay I make sure I bath in the Lume acidified soap/bodywash, pack Lume wipes to keep certain areas feel fresh and clean. I also pack the Lume whole body cream and of course the Lume deodorant plus sweat control smooth solid. These items help me feel free and not worrying if I stink because of not being able to take a shower after surgery. The wipes help with cleaning and keeping the areas clean and fresh after every bathroom use. If I can't take a shower at the wipes and body creme can help me feel as if I freshen up. These products alone or together help keep you fresh smelling for several days. I would say 3-5 days depending on how often you are using wipes and the body cream if you can't use the body wash. I came back to repurchase and I’m surprised by the reviews. Admittedly, the first time I tried original Lume, I was not a fan. However, I paid a lot for it so I kept it as a backup. I was determined to use it. After about a week, I got used to it. It really does keep me from stinking. Unfortunately it didn’t keep me dry. When I saw the new formula, I wasn’t super optimistic that I would work. I’m no athlete but it keeps me dry 90% of the time and the stick lasts a long time. I’ve been using the same one daily for 2 months. It is a pain to apply because it’s so dry. I have started putting it on when my skin is still a little wet from the shower and that helps.

I'm kinda still undecided about LUME. Fact is for some reason the scents matter when it comes to how effective the product is. I've also noticed a different between the creams & sticks have different effectiveness/longevity.The melon stick works great and lasts long but does nothing for sweat control.The sweat control tube cream works (soft powder) but I run out of it faster because the small amount they advertise in the commercial isn't enough for me. Especially when I sweat sometimes it runs down and then my armpits to my elbow can smell.I now recently tried the sweat control stick (soft powder) and it doesn't smell the same as the tube. It almost smells like nail polish drying when you first apply it and it doesn't give me 72 hour effects and I ended up with sweat running down my arm today which I didn't have when I used the tube. The most frustrating thing is that literally some of the scents do not work for me at all. For example they used to have a coconut, I could shower in the AM and then stink by noon. I also recently looked at the ingredients and I was not expecting to see aluminum because when I originally started purchasing LUME I was under the impression it was supposed to be more natural and less chemicals. I have been waiting months for the Melon Scent stick with added scent control. The melon scent stick worked great for me the only issue was that it does nothing to stop the sweat. It's really frustrating that each time LUME releases a different product it's in those scents that remind me of cleaning supplies. Tangerine... Lavender.... And now they released vanilla which again I've been waiting a super long time for the other scents. I can't tell you the reason why some of the scents work for my body and some don't. Since according to LUME it shouldn't matter but it does. I use lysol laundry sanitizer with my laundry and pretty much live in tank tops and I will still sweat and smell since I live in a hot humid tropical environment. I have a love hate relationship with Lume and it's frustrating because I unfortunately have to use more of the product and I go through it quickly because I still have to apply it at least once a day.

I've been looking for this no sweat option and glad to finally find it here. At first, it seems more difficult to apply than the regular Lume. It felt very dry and wasn't sure if I was applying any product. After 3 tries, it now feels OK but not as 'creamy' as the original. I haven't worn it yet when exercising but it seems OK for daily use.

The product does what it says it can do. That is keep me dry and smelling great all day. Unfortunately, I broke out in a rash and won’t be able to use this product. Really did keep me dry though. It’s a bummer.

I work 12 hour days outside for the military this detorant keeps up and keeps me fresh. This is unisex smell keeps my family fresh in miami. I have it on subscribed auto purchase. It's a must have for me

This works like magic and it doesn’t leave a residue. I have pcos and I can never find a deodorant that actually works. I’ve used clinical strength Dove, advanced dove, clinical strength secret, certain dri, Ban, native, speed stick you name it! LUME IS THE BEST! The only down side is the stick itself gets extremely dry but you can moisten it with a tad bit of water for easier application but that is nothing compared to its benefits! I’m on day 2 of using it so hopefully my body doesn’t reject it over time

Purchased the Lavender Sage bc I enjoyed it when I purchased the deodorant. But the deodorant/antiperspirant is so dry it hurts when you try to apply it! And the scent is non-existent. Due to these two points i tight it was old. Disappointing since I appreciate their products.
