UPDATE: "Excellent Customer Service!" A beauty that will last!
With my initial review of product: a GICASA representative got a hold of me that same day. By email, testing the advice given & plenty of pictures the GICASA representative determined that the nozzle was faulty & possibly the washers. They sent me a new nozzle & plenty of washers. After switching out the original nozzle & washers with the new one the facet worked like it should. Curiosity was getting the better of me so I wanted to see if the old nozzle would leak with the new washers & it sure enough the old nozzle leaked. It must of had a hair line crack in it some place, but I couldn't see it.I chose this facet because of the curved design (water cannot pool on it to rust it out) & for the price. With my initial review I was ready to caulk it up as a lesson learned (big waste of money). After dealing with the excellent online support of GICASA's customer service; I wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone about their products!OLD TITLE & REVIEW: "A beauty that won't last." (two stars)Beautiful facet but sprayer head leaks. We received this facet back in February and finally installed it today. Didn't want to hire a plumber & health issues have prevented either one of us from doing it till now. Instructions were easy enough to follow but they need some tweaking. A plumber told me not to follow the instructions when it comes to attaching the hoses. That you would want to attach the hoses before you slip them down through the hole in the sink. Being such a small area to tighten the fittings this made sense. With this facet that wasn't going to work but I will give you another tip: leave off the hot water supply line, it is the only thing that is preventing the under mount nut from sliding up.My husband told me not to pick out a facet with a sprayer cause he said that is more area's that can leak. Well he was right with this facet.Pictures show water stream coming from top of nozzle plus a couple more after water is turned off. If you look just below the brown dish cloth in the one picture you can see that it is a small stream. With that being said; I will have to try and contact someone since this facet is suppose to have a 5 year warranty.I will update my review after my warranty has been settled or if it hasn't been.

I love how this faucet looks and feels
The media could not be loaded. I love how this faucet looks and feels. Installation was simple. The hot and cold connections were not labeled so I assumed hot on the left and cold on the right and it was correct. Pressure is better than we had with the old faucet- almost too much! But it's adjustable, so I'll appreciate the high pressure when I need it. I like the fact that the spray head extends further than the other one so they will never meet and I don't have to pick up the spray to change the sides (I read that was an issue for some other faucets). I also really like that the other spout projects out a little bit. I was afraid that the stream would be straight down and end up being in the inner corners of the sink but I like where it lands. Regarding the faucet, I had enough space to have the handle facing horizontally but decided on a 45 degree angle instead. Front facing would also make sense. The end of the video shows how much/little space I had behind the faucet, but the handle would not have touched the wall even if I had installed to the side. If the backsplash was higher, it would have been a different story. Two things to note though...I pulled out the aeration/filter piece that was already in the faucet, out of curiosity (comes with two), and the inside was covered with loose shreds of metal seemingly from excess screen itself? I'll post pictures. They were easily removed. When I was shopping for faucets, I found that others that looked similar were just HUGE and the nozzle hung really high, so I really liked that this one was a little smaller to fit my kitchen better. Turns out 2.6" is a little low for comfort. If I had a shallower sink I would be very unhappy, but my sink is reasonably deep so I will manage/get used to it. If it were higher, it would splash a lot when used at full blast. It can be held and raised anyway so I can live with it.If I were to buy again, I would go for a bigger faucet overall, but right now I would not hesitate to recommend this one if someone measured it out and thought it would fit their sink and kitchen well.I'll try to remember to update eventually, regarding how it holds up over time and use :)

Do not purchase
The media could not be loaded. This product only lasted about 6 months before it broke and started leaking. Could only return for the first 30 days, so I will have to buy a different faucet to replace it…

Great water pressure in this faucet
Bought this for the laundry room sink which is a 10” deep 33” x 22” single basin and to test to see if we like it and want it in our new kitchen. Love the water pressure which is perfect for a laundry room/utility sink. You can turn the pressure down at the main water control on the faucet’s column. You also set temperature here also. We really like the squeeze trigger on the sprayer. It is sturdy and easy to use and is not a hard to push button or slide switch like in many home faucets. Slide switches and buttons tend to wear out or get hard to use over time in our experience. The only draw back to this faucet is the main water on/off (and temperature control) is on the main column separate from the on/off control of the sprayer trigger and from the lever on the pot filler (regular spout). If you pull the sprayer trigger or turn the lever on the pot filler to turn them on and no water comes out you have to turn on the lever on the main column because it is off. It is just not intuitive to have to turn on two controls. Thus the 4 stars. We still really like the faucet. It is very stylish and the water pressure is tremendous and can be controlled using the main column lever. We need to re-train ourselves to use multiple points of control for on/off. So, still trying to decide if we will get the same faucet for our new kitchen. We probably will as we do like it. Jury still deliberating. We really do like this faucet and we have installed a second one in our new kitchen.
