6' Cedar privacy fence...no. But picket, or redwood (3.5" or 5.5" boards) where you want a clean finish...absolutely! Note, a 15-gauge is as small as you'd want to go where finish-nailers are concerned. To add strength to your nailed boards, shoot the nails in at slight, opposing angles--not straight in. This will provide a substantially stronger hold. Also, to maximize hold, adjust the nail depth so that the nail head sits flush with the board. Counter-sinking the nail too much will weaken the hold strength.

Yes, it does chirp nicely as you hammer away, but I don’t think it’s from tweeters.
