Defective watches
I’m not one to really do this often, but at the second one in 2 days I think this has to be posted. I ordered the first one - dead battery. Whatever, just get it he watch swapped out, nothing crazy. Second day, second watch - dead battery. At this point I’m like alright I’m going to get the battery replaced. Before I could even get the battery replaced the second hand falls off the second watch. I get white labeled watches can have some subpar quality, but this is just insane. Tried mvmt as a cheap watch alternative to wearing my expensive watches daily, but lesson learned: stick to the G-Shock.

This is a $50 watch.
The media could not be loaded. My first MVMT watch. Got it on discount for around $50 because the "Revolver" model was discontinued. I'm happy with what I got for my money but it's not worth $100. It is comfortable to where and looks stylish. Manufacturing and material quality far exceed what normally comes out of China. The strap is a single piece of leather and is not double-sided. I believe all mvmt watch bands are manufactured like this. I may replace it with a gray or black crocodile leather band. It seems to keep time well but I haven't had it long enough to really judge. If you want a nice little side watch and do find an mvmt watch for under 60 bucks... DO IT!

Issues shortly after purchasing
2 stars because I liked the sleek size and the unique band color (grey/blue), but after less than a month of owning this watch my band was fraying and a very thin crack appeared in the watch face. I chose a new brand, one I’d not previously owned, due to the quality feedback across what appears to be a reputable company with quality feedback from people who purchased watches across their Amazon store. I’m fairly active, lots of outdoor activities and could see having to buy a new one in 6m or so, but 3 weeks to start noticing a breakdown.. and no less than a week after the crack appeared, it spiderwebbed in a strange pattern (see pics) to where I’m worried if the glass were to give out during an inopportune time or place, I’d likely be dealing with risking glass shard retrieval. Giving up on it after 6 weeks

Nice-looking watch, but overpriced and definitely not worth your money
This watch, or any watches from the brand MVMT in general, is made in China with a fraction of the cost that it is sold for. You can easily find "replicas" of these watches without the brand name on aliexpress for less than 1/3 of the price. MVMT is NOT a watch-maker; they outsource everything in China. The price you're paying is for their marketing, not the product itself. Granted, the watch does look very nice but its quality is questionable; for instance, the surface is very susceptible to scratches. You also won't be able to change the battery in the watch. For this price, you can get automatic (basically no battery needed) watches from other reputable brands like Timex, Seiko, Orient, Citizen, .etc.

Cheap quality, incredibly overpriced.
My Fiancée bought me this watch as a gift and I literally wore it 4 times in the span of about a month or two, and one day I got home and the face of the watch was cracked, I swore that nothing happened to it, I didn’t hit the face against any hard surfaces or anything. After inspecting further I have found many many people who have had the same thing happen, and it’s just cheap quality, I’m very upset because the watch meant a lot to me and I just can’t believe the company charges as much as they do to have their products breaking so consistently, I really hope they are kind and can do something for us. If you look around online about these watches you will see similar reviews, please save yourself the trouble and money and do not buy one of their watches.
