Nice sturdy laminate material; easy install
Nice organizer for a small walk- closet with limited space. I got 2 units above hangers and they accommodate my 8 ½ size shoes & sandals. Wish I had this years ago.

Perfect for pairs of casual, low heeled womens shoes. Stilettos or mens shoes don't fit as a pair, but can remove dividers.
For my purposes, this shoe organizer is a home run! I am a middle aged woman who leads a casual lifestyle and works in a casual office setting. What this translates to, is that I don't wear/own 3 inch stilettos or high platform shoes. There are many negative reviews that mention the compartments are too small to hold their shoes. This is true, IF you are wanting to store heels more than 3" high, or if you want to stand pairs side-by-side. If you flip one pair and store them much like they do in a shoebox (toe end to heel end), one pair should easily fit in each cubby.I am not using this for my husband's shoes either. If you are wanting storage for mens shoes, keep in mind that only one shoe (not a pair) will fit in each cubby. The only shoes of my husbands that would fit as a pair, are his slippers/sandals.For me however, this holds 15 pair of size 7.5 shoes perfectly and I couldn't be happier.I purchased two of these - - - one for my casual, every-day shoes. These range from sandals, slip-ons, and even Dansko clogs. The Dansko's are my go-to everyday pair. They are also the tightest fit in one cubby, so I have to admit that more often than not, I don't put these away every day and just leave these sitting in front of the cube for the next day instead.I am using the other organizer for my business/dressy shoes. Because these nicer shoes are less often used and they have leather or patent leather finishes that I don't want scuffed, I put one side in a shoe bag before storing the pair in one cubby. One side is bagged so the pair isn't rubbing against each other, but one side is still visible so I can see which pair it is.Side note, I am standing this vertically in my closet (so it's 19"wide and 24"high). If doing this, take note that although there are no "feet" on this unit that prohibits changing the orientation, two of the thin edges of the 19" sides are unfinished. When standing in a vertical position, these two unfinished edges are visible. In my situation, in a closet, butted up against another shelving unit, these edges are hidden. If you are thinking of using this vertically, in an open area where it would be seen from both sides, take this into consideration.Assembly was a cinch too - - one person, phillips screwdriver, small hammer, 15 minutes from opening box to completion.

Honestly, not bad!
This product is very good for a quick storage fix. Not something I would recommend for a lomg term solution because it is made of particle board and laminated white. It is great though to use in a closet or childs bedroom to hold smaller items. Women's shoes work well in the cubby spaces, but they must be stacked ontop of each other. No side-by-side action happening here at all. Also nothing bigger than a basic athletic running shoe. I have my converse and running shoes in mine and it worls great. Men's shoes though, if they are much bigger than mine (7.5 size) then I would not recommend for that. It is very easy to assemble and does not take very long. The only thing I would change is that inside shelves do not lock into the walls until you nail in the back which is only thick cardstock/board and it cam rip fairly easy. Over all though it is a good product for the price and small enough to tuck away average size closet! (I have two of them fitting in my closet). :)

Excellent!
I bought these to set up a shoe wall in my closet. these were the right kind of cubby i wanted and the right price out of everything i searched for this. Building it was fairly simple but if you have larger shoes, you'll have to do what i did and modify the size of the openings so your shoes (like booties) will fit. keeping it how it is supposed to be means you'll only be able to fit one gym shoe or a pair or 2 of flip flops in one slot...not very much space obviously. i removed TWO shelves from each cubby i ordered and it left the top row with smaller spaces and the rest with just enough space for a pair of booties (YES A PAIR) i put one facing forward and the other facing back. It makes the cubby have half the slots it did but at least now it WORKS. I bought 2 cubbies so far and plan to buy 2 more once the price goes back down (it suddenly spiked up after i ordered them). The picture a customer uploaded of her shoe wall with the cubbies, did it the way that i explained, because there is NO WAY she left it how it was supposed to be and fit those shoes in there, so if youre using those pictures as inspiration for use of these cubbies then make sure you remove the 2 shelves (its very easy and you can add them back whenever you want) otherwise your shoes WILL NOT FIT! Also, forget about putting BOOTS in there, youre better off getting The Boot Hanger and just using that for your boots, thats what i did.

beautiful and effective shoe organizer
will purchase more. i have size 6 feet so majority of my shoes fit in this. love the small cubbies because it can store more shoes in this space. open cubby makes it so easy for me to pick my shoes in the morning. also more apt to upt it back in this organizer rather than leaving it on the ground and cluttering up my entrance. definitely cheaply made but the color is rich, the entrance of where this is is darker so it actually really looks like real wood. so cheap and if it breaks in 5 years, i have no problem just purchasing more. But i really don't think that it will because i am not storing anything heavy in them.
