Looks like good quality
We ordered this at the beginning of September and didn’t end up getting it until two months later, they I initially said would deliver in less than a week and it kept pushing and pushing. We ended up buying the cheapy $9 one which did last us a year, had to install that one, and then once this arrived we put it in our laundry storage for the next time the other belt breaks off. The fabric backing makes this look and feel more sturdy than those cheap ones. The thickness seems just the same as the other rubber ones, should be able to be placed just the same, thankfully this model is easy to replace, but always check the pulley and other components. Will update probably in a year when the other one breaks off.Update 12/31/24: this has been working well, there is no noise, the speed is normal, definitely fits well and spins on the barrel much easier than any other belts I’ve used.

Good Fit in Kenmore Gas Dryer 80 Series Model 110-72812101
The belt arrived and was installed in less than 30 minutes. It was actually fairly easy to install after watching YouTube videos. Dryer was working fine after the installation.

Buy oem parts!
Well worth the price. Since my daughter put a load of soaking wet clothes in the dryer & snapped the original belt, I’ve gone through at least 8 belts. I was ordering the cheap off brand ones & they didn’t last at all. I have an appliance parts store down my street but they’re never open when I’m home. So I finally got the oem whirlpool belt for my kenmore dryer & it has been working just fine for over 3 months now. I’ve become a pro at dismantling my dryer & installing belts. Soon after replacing this last belt my dryer stopped heating, and I had to replace the heating element, & the timer broke & I replaced that too. Replacing parts is much easier than buying a whole new dryer. There’s plenty of videos out there to help guide you. But please, buy the original belt meant for your dryer, it will last 10x longer & be worth the price. I would know, I’m a pro appliance repair woman now! Haha.

Works great!
I purchased one as a replacement and a second one to keep on-,hand in case I need it. Takes about 30 minutes to replace. This looks like the original OEM belt (red in one side)

exact replacement
This is an exact replacement for our dryer. The original belt lasted nearly 15 years. The first replacement lasted one month and the second lasted 6 months in a 2-person home. This new belt has the red outer coating, which I believe indicates an original part. It was a perfect fit and an easy install, however I can't rate it on longevity. It is not clear as to why the new belts are failing, as there is no obvious alignment issue at play. I will make it a habit to lift the top of the dryer every few weeks to see if there are signs of failure instead of waiting for the belt to break. UPDATE: I learned that wear on the drive pulley increases friction on the belt, causing failure. Be sure to check the drive motor pulley for the grooves which should match up with the ribs in the belt. If these are worn or missing, you likely need a pulley also.

Much better made then the others
Purchased a generic repair kit for my dryer last October so not even a year ago and the belt was shredding all over and the drum rollers were so loud due to the hard plastic used instead of rubber so back to fixing it again. This time I purchased genuine OEM parts and the difference is remarkable. Belt is working as expected and drum roller wheels are again quite. While the cost for the individual parts is almost 3x what the cheap kit was at least I won't have to fix it every year. So you get what you pay for. Avoid the cheap knockoffs. It will save time in the end.
