Q: I have a squire affinity . Will these work as a direct replacment ?

If it is the same scale-length guitar, it should work! Drill hole sizes approximate the same dimensions as standard Strats, then, yes, it should work!

Q: Anyone have reviews on performance? Will it be better than the stock squier bullet tuners?

Yes...they are better tuners than what comes on that model. They are exact repro's of 64-67 klusons but will not work on my 54 Tele.

Q: will these work on a squier jaguar ?

I put these on a Squier Tele and I had to plug the holes and drill because the spacing was different. And also the size of the holes in the headstock was different.

Q: Will this fit a 3/8 hole?

The bushings that come with these tuners are a little over 8 mm, so separate adapter bushings are needed for larger tuner holes.
