Q: Can you wash the produce before storing in these containers?

Its not recommended by the company but I have. Just be sure to drain as much water as possible, I dry produce on paper towels first. Produce is said to last much longer if you don’t wash or cut first. But I like to food prep so yes, I do this and it still lasts way longer than regular containers or ziplocs with papertowels.

The vent does not ever need to be removed and is designed to last the entire life of the product. It does not require any changes to the vent in order to work. Opening the filter and removing the membrane can result in FreshWorks not functioning properly.
