Would this work on thicker pieces of wood such as a shadow box to display butterflies in?

Excuse me, I´m from Uruguay, South America, and my English is very basic. I think the Logan joiner could work depending on the depth of the box (or thickness of the frame). For example using a 10 mm V nail, you can´t join pieces of wood that are more than 18 mm of thikness. Maybe you could ask Logan sales office.
