They say 100% natural and non-gmo, so I will say yes. I like this rice a lot. Rinse it before cooking.

Q: Can it be stored in the freezer? How long?

I have always stored wild rice in the freezer, then let it thaw a bit before I sauté and bake it.

Q: Why does this look more like black rice instead of a wild rice with different colors?

It is, in fact, plain old wild rice. I grant you the artwork on the packaging seems quite different from the actual rice that is clearly seen in the transparent area of the pak. Dumb art department?
