The disc is 45mm across and 10mm thick.

I think these would there pretty solid, assuming that the service on the a1 speaker hold the magnet sticker. One on its own is strong, would easily hold an iPad, if you use two, the a1 speaker is only 0.5 in weight, definitely hold.
