Easy to use, easy to clean
Have used it only for smooth soups so far, but have no doubt it will create good chunky soups too. Having had my previous soup maker for 8 years which was blender style, I was worried it wouldn't make as big a quantity of soup as you can only fill it to about 1/3 up. I was wrong on this - it makes 4 decent portions when fill to max line. Lid goes on surprisingly easily considering blade has to navigate the ingredients in the kettle. Keep warm function works well. Auto clean function is great for getting the majority of food debris off but still needs the once over afterwards, especially the top of the spindle. Small inconvenience for an otherwise great soup maker.Box was damaged on arrival inside the paper Amazon bag - it was clearly damaged when picked at the warehouse. Luckily no damage to the soup maker itself but make sure to check as whatever ripped the box had ripped the plastic bag around the soup maker too.

Hassle free soup
No watching a pan or blending the soup afterwards.Just put your soup ingredients into the jug, add water, close the lid and select chunky or smooth and leave it to make delicious soups while you do other things. The information states 4 portions, sometimes I make a denser soup and water it down after, giving 6 to 8 portions or use some to make a pasta sauce or base for a sauce or put some into a bolognese. I have added garlic and Italian herbs or curry paste/spices to my soups and have not had discolouration or smells in my soup maker, nor with tomatoes. If you hate standing over/checking on a soup pan or you are prone to burning/boiling dry, this soup maker will be a game changer for you.My old model Tower soup maker stopped working after over 12 years. Replaced with the new model. Two differences, a clean mode and the handles is wider, which is a bit wide for my small hands but it's not caused problems using it.The clean mode seemed a bit over the top to me, but it works well, however the soup that is around the higher edges doesn't get cleaned but, instead of having to clean it off with a dishcloth, it rinsed away after the cleaning mode. Probably because the condensation inside softened it.There is advice in the information to avoid some ingredients that can burn and how to soak or clean if you forgot and something burnt in there. The soup maker arrived in its own box - no outer packaging but everything was well packed inside and in perfect condition.

Simple and Quick
This is a great piece of equipment if you just want a bowl of soup for lunch. I love it because when I have left over vegetables or tomatoes I can quickly turn them into a bowl of nourishing, low calorie soup by adding stock cubes or tinned tomatoes some herbs and lentils.I love it

Bigger than you may expect but a sturdy piece of kit
I find it easy to use and clean. Shame that you can only fill it to within the minimum and maximum levels because they are quite restrictive. The chopper motor uses a lot of the space so I can see why it is big to accommodate the motor. It would be good to use it for smaller quantities but it would fall below the minimum if you did so. It is quick and it does make the smooth soup so long as you chop up the stuff small to start with. I like the keep warm facility so you can come back to a warm soup. I've used it for Slimming World recipes quite successfully and results in nice low calorie soup. Have not tried it as a smoothie maker yet but have done about 5 types of soup, smooth and chunky.

Fab little soup maker!
Really easy to use, you chuck in some chopped veg or leftover cooked veg, some hot vegetable stock, maybe an extra potato, onions, garlic and herbs and 22 minutes later you have lovely smooth homemade veg soup. You can put in cooked meats too and there's a chunky soup option or smoothie option. It's really easy to clean using the clean option or you can just clean out the jug with a sponge and some dish soap. It makes between 1.2litres & 1.6 litres which is enough for approx 4 bowls of soup. Only bought this just before Christmas but have already used it at least twice a week as the homemade soup is so yummy!! The veg needs to be chopped quite small before you start. You can buy ready made soup mix bags from the supermarket which are already diced up. Lovely flavour and you know exactly what is in the soup rather than lots of stuff that's not good for you or necessary.
