Excellent quality
Used a couple of times, once to watch a coastal rowing competition and then to view the moon and Jupiter (small dot and 4 small dots for moons).in both ircumstances worked very well, Although I did use a monopod. They are slightly heavy but not overly so and build quality seems excellent .good clear images

. By the time the 16x50 ties arrived , it was too late to return the extra Mount. One in the box!
Superb optical quality, especially the eyepieces which are very wide and facilitate the wearer of spectacles without getting that remote tunnel vision effect. Excellent value for money. You cannot beat Nikon, but I knew that having previously bought a pair of 12 x 50 ties. I will use them primarily to plane spot civil aircraft from my back garden in Kent, together with the Flightracker app on my IPad.I very much hope that my review has been helpful and an encouragement to your future purchasers. Both pairs are of top quality without having to pay silly prices,Yours sincerely,Bruce Malcolm

Fantastic clarity
Simply great binocularsNitrogen filled makes the images crisp and clear. Good level of zoom. Quite weighty but to be expected at this level.Mounted mine on a monopodSuperb

Excellent bang for the buck
I bought these binoculars as an economically priced pair with a long reach for bird watching. 16x is really the limit for handholding, even in strong light, because of the difficulty in holding them steady. I have used them in bird hides mainly, where I can support them by leaning on the shelf. They do come with a tripod or monopod bush mount and this is adequate.Optically they are very acceptable. No, of course they won't match the premium models, but then the price is way lower than a pair of Swarovski binos. They are reasonably portable and for identifying birds at long range, they do the job very nicely.

Nikon quality binoculars
Like the quality. However they are not as practical as the smaller Nikon 10x25 as it's hard to hold them steady. But great if you want the extra magnification. I did buy a cheeper zoom pair from a different manufacturer which had good reviews but returned it as it was not well focused and gave me a headache after using them for a while. However the Nikon adjustable eye cups for spec wearers didn't help. Also the eye covers are fiddly to fit.

Great Value
I'm very happy with these binoculars. They're a vast improvement on my 7x magnification, slightly heavier though, if you have a reasonably steady hand you'll be fine. The image is very clear, even in low light. I was able to focus in on objects as close as 50ft to 60ft away. Shipping was lightning fast too.

Not as good as expected.
When these binoculars arrived I was quiet excited. Everything was good, the look, the feel and I suppose they are very good binoculars. The only disappointing thing, for me, was that the object I was looking at was no nearer than my 30yr old 10x50 Carl Ziess binoculars. I was expecting the object to be closer for a 16x50. Hence the disappointment. Other than that a very good and clear image.

Worth the money
I own a few pairs of binoculars but these are by far my favourite. The quality of construction and optics exceeds my expectations and for a reasonable price you get a great piece of kit. I have purchased and returned cheaper ones due to the poor magnification and/or optical quality but you get what you pay for and these seem as good as others costing double the price or more.
