Our backyard theater system came in 3 days. Backyard Theater Systems Inc had to contact me about something and they are a fabulous thoughtful company. It was overwhelming at first and then seemed to go quite smooth. My daughter and I set it up in our living room before we invited guests for outside movie night....just to make sure we could get it going, with sound and picture. It is surprisingly easy to set up. I will say that we set it up on our concrete patio and had people seated in the yard. It is much easier that way, not so much anchoring to the ground. And, much more stable. We also just set our speakers on the ground instead of bolting to the top of the screen. Sound was just fine and save some time. I will also add, it is easier to set up with someone who has grown up with technology. It would have taken me a lot longer by myself. I labeled each side of the cables for easier set up the next time. Our 18 year old guests set it up in 30 minutes and took it down in 15. We started the movie well before dusk. I had read that a Blue-ray is a must and it is. We started the movie at 7:30. With regular DVD players you have to until almost dark. Bottom line, great products, everything you need it there (including extension cord), amazing picture, easy set up (for what it is), and summer filled with friends and family! If you are able to spend the extra money, this company has made it pretty easy!

Great company! I loved the idea of an outdoor theater and thought it would be fun in the spring/summer to use with the neighbors, so one night I bought it on impulse. The system arrived super fast. For whatever reason the bozos we planned to use the system with, weren’t really into the idea. As a result, we decided to return the system and Backyard Theater Systems couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Martha was absolutely fantastic with helping us process the return quickly. We never used the system, but it arrived exactly as described and the company could not have been more pleasant to work with!

I can't say there were not issues with the order, but the customer service was top notch. Everything promised to me happened like they said. As far as the product goes, I was happy with everything but the sound. I cant turn my system up loud enough to enjoy the type of speakers that come with the package. Now I am no sound guy either, I am just saying the sound is the reason why I take a star. Maybe I just don't have the settings correct. I have used it at five party's, and it has been a great time. I still feel like it was a fair purchase for the price. Once again, Backyard Theatre Systems treated me like they cared. That went a long way for me.

Proved to be very difficult to actually set up. Couldn't (still can't) figure out how to get the speakers to work. For this much money, it NEEDS to work correctly. I'm 33, a professional musician. I'm very familiar with electronics like these and the bottom line is it just didn't work. I ended up having to connect my phone with the bluetooth on the speakers and play the same movie on my phone synced up at the EXACT same time so the audio wasn't lagging or ahead. Not ok for a projector that cost over $1500.00.

Pro’sPicture quality is good but really just like what you expect from a projector not an HD TV.Most components are high quality.Fairly easy to setup but time consuming.Con’sOverpriced. I paid $1499 way too much for what you get.Return shipping cost is on you. UPS store quoted $780 when I tried to return it.It only works in the dark. I had outdoor football games in mind and No way will this work for any afternoon games. MUST be dark.The fire stick they provided is defective and won’t even start.Too many components.

This is absolutely awesome. My husband was skeptical of this at first, and questioned my sanity for paying so much money. As he was pulling everything out to hook up he was getting more excited. It comes with everything you need for a great movie night. We've had to store it now in the living room because we've spent the summer weekend nights outside enjoying movies in a whole new way and need easy access to it. The kids have enjoyed drive in movie nights as much as we do, even the neighbors have come over now because they couldn't help but watch from either the front yard or over the wall. This has been well worth the price!

Did not meet anyone's expectationAssembly was too complicated and it could not hold its own weight nor the weight when the speakers were added It was a disaster!!!!

I received my system on Saturday before Labor Day Monday. I was excited and set the system up immediately. It took sometime the first time and I remembered reading someone else review and they stated that they labeled the cords, so I labeled them before disassembling the system. My next set-up was very easy and I have not had any problems with the system at all. I love it, my family and friends loves it as well. The kids always feels like they are at the movies. It's worth every dime. Since buying the system I have purchased a popcorn machine. LOL
