Has anyone tried this without catnip? I feel this could be an old sock as long as it has catnip in it - same effect.

Yes, I threw away the catnip. Just use the bird. My kitten loves it. The bird died so many horrible deaths! ;-)

What is the best way to wash the toy?

Remove the mechanism, wash the toy with a mild soap and water, rinse it well and let it air dry

How long does the battery last

The battery is rechargeable. One charge lasted my cats 7-10 days. However, my cats don't play with it to often. I would guess the battery charge will last according on how often the toy is used.

スイッチいれたら振ってください

説明書が日本語でなかったので使い方がよくわからず、充電してもぴくっと動くだけで全く動かないため壊れていると思って問い合わせしたところスイッチをオンにした状態でぴくっと動いたあとに、振らないといけなかったそうで、やってみたらちゃんと動きました。やはり機械的なものは日本語の説明書が必要ですね。直ぐに対応していただいたので返品せずに良かったです。肝心な猫の反応は今一つでしたが、可愛いおもちゃだと思います。

The media could not be loaded. 中国発の割にはプチプチで包装されており梱包は丁寧でした。着まで日にちはかかりましたが急ぎではなかったので許容範囲内デス。肝心の商品は思ったより大きく動きも鳴き声もニャンズの心には響かズ匂いを嗅いだだけで終わりました。

飛ばない。猫にすぐに捕まって猫もすぐに相手にしなくなった。お勧めは出来ない。中国発送の為2-３週間到着までにかかる。良いところは無い。
