Best TENS and EMS Device I've Ever Used
It works much better than I expected. I use both the TENS and EMS functions and I personally find myself on EMS more often so I can increase the pulse width to its maximum of 450us while also controlling on/off times and hertz. The available options to customize your own 3 TENS or 3 EMS programs is more than enough for even the pros. All the features you need for a fully custom experience are available. Pulse widths, frequency, strength, on/off working time, burst/continuous mode. If you want custom, this unit delivers. And it's very easy to use.It has many pre-programmed functions and therapies, and the central body figure on the screen makes it easy to see where on the front or back of my body to place the electrodes for, e.g. EMS program 12 - you will not be disappointed in the programs it offers, which target just about every muscle group and relief type. The value for the money is ideal. While it is a more expensive model than the cheaper units out there, the build quality is superb and is what you would expect for the price. The fit and finish are fantastic. The included electrodes are great. This unit uses 3.5mm snap-on electrodes. If you're looking to buy more, Axion brand 3.5mm snap-on 2in x 2in electrodes have worked the absolute best out of dozens of brands I've tried over the years with other units.IMPORTANT: replacement electrodes must have 3.5mm snap-on connections. Axion is a good brand for this. They need to make this information easier to find. The "Doctor's Feature" is poorly named but does do what they claim of it. However, you cannot escape the menu without holding the right side down arrow to disengage it before turning back off and on. I dislike the doctor recall feature because of that.Overall it's very easy to use, very well built with great fit and finish, has every option under the sun you could want, and at maximum intensity is very powerful. The manual says this unit sends up to 200mA per pulse. That's one of the highest on the market. It does so at 100 volts. Yes this is safe, and you can find this info on the very last page of the English section of the manual. Also ~ the manual is easy to understand and thoroughly goes through everything step by step. It's worth reading before your first time using the device.Pro tip: clean the area you plan to place the electrodes very well with rubbing alcohol on a cotton-round. Get the dead skin and oil off so it sticks better and conducts betterSecond pro tip: electrodes are washable. Use as hot water as you can stand. Rub gently for 15 to 30 seconds under hot water. Set aside and let dry for 1 hour. The hot water and brief yet gentle rubbing preserves the electrodes for the longest time. Cold water fails to clean the crap off well enough, which leads to extended cleaning times and loss of glycerin.I would and have recommended this unit to my friends and family.Last info for those who read this far: use rechargeable AAA batteries if you plan to use the device often. It does eat batteries and uses 3 AAA - also, high capacity NiMH AAA will outlast alkaline by hours. Save yourself some money if you use this often.

Great TINS/EMS with heat
This works really well. I love the heat option. I've already started looking for replacement nodes as I've read they're hard to get (and so far that's been true). It's well made with a pretty good battery duration. The pads stick well so I definitely want to get the brand pads. The leads are plenty long enough and use the USBC port. It's slightly more expensive than other models but I think it's a descent value. It's small enough to throw in your pocket and walk around with. I've only used the EMS a few times and I don't have a lot of experience with it although it seems powerful too.

Worth it
Absolutely love this machine, I wish I found it years ago. Battery life is great, I’ve used it twice a day for over a week and have not charged it once. Easy to follow directions and sticks to my skin well even with the regular oils I emit every day. Multiple functions are phenomenal, TENS or EMS.

Effective like physical therapy grade tens machines
I have been using this consistently twice or more a month for the last 3 months. It is effective, portable, easy to use, durable (the gel pads only now need replacing) and the battery life is good. It offers pain relief and the heat function works well too.

Good TENS unit, bought on amazon.
I had been having lower back pain related to new exercise and weight loss which was causing me much distraction at work. I was able to use this unit to strengthen and relax the muscles around my spine so that i could focus. The unit works well and the heat function is quite nice for when you are on the go or in a car that doesn't have heated seats or at work. I did buy a generic set of gel adhesive pads for when the OEM ones stop working, but so far with 2 weeks of use they are holding up. It is nice to have 2 sets of pads to work adjacent areas at the same time. The unit charges quite quickly off USBC, which is also the interface the pads use to connect to the unit. I do not know what replacement pads would cost, but they have to be purchased from the manufacturer, so I do hope that they don't change the design too much on future units to where this becomes obsolete. A small carry case would have been a nice addition to round out the kit, but I have repurposed a hotspot case that i use for holding this and throw it in my backpack. That case is 3.5x5.5 inch and holds this setup just fine.

Fantastic Home Therapy
After completing physical therapy for a couple of months where my therapist was using EMS for my back muscles, a search for a home unit brought me to the Beurer TENS/EMS unit. Despite its compact size, it seems every bit as powerful in delivering current to my muscles as the big machine in use at my physical therapy center. I can't come anywhere near the maximum settings, it seems just as strong as the units in physical theory centers. The only down side is that it was near impossible to find the stick pads stateside. I had to order them from a merchant in the U.K. But I have stock now, and the pads are good for about a month of regular use, maybe a little longer. Anyway, I am so glad I found and purchased this home unit as it has greatly improved a condition I'm suffering with. I haven't used the TENS functions much, so I can't really speak to that, but the EMS is excellent.
