Great mister!!
Ordered this in lieu of renting one or buying the entire fan kit, and couldn't be happier with it, with one exception. I give it 5 stars because it's exactly as advertised and works like a champ. The cost was very reasonable compared to buying an entire fan kit or renting a big old honker from a rental place. Attached in minutes and I could immediately feel a huge difference in the temp.My only issue (very minor) is that the maker includes black zip ties to attach to the fan face, when probably 99% of all small fans are white. C'mon kaz, include white zip ties! I just used some white ones I had, but if you order one, go to Lowe's and pick up a bag of em. It made a big difference aesthetically in the final appearance.

Works Well
I bought two of these mister units for fans I use on the patio. They are very well made, have a built in filter to keep grit from clogging the misters and was very easy to install. I saved quite a bit money making my own mister fans. The fans are on a stand I bought for about twenty-five each and the price of the mister made it half the price of a fan that has built in misters. Plus, if the fan needs replaced or the mister I only have to replace one or the other. Other types I have tried had thin walled tubing that ended up splitting after one season.

works great
I used this when I first got it at a bbq cookout and my guests were impressed with it and are planning to get one as well. It really works well. It does not spit out alot of water just even mist to cool you down. I highly recommend it.

Well Worth the Cost
I have two of these attached to high velocity fans and in the Texas heat they worked fantastic. I highly recommend these if you want to stay a bit cooler outdoors. They naturally are not as effective when the humidity is high but still add a nice cooling effect.

Might Revise My Rating, but ...
Day 1: So far, this is a great product as long as you want to sit around in your bathing suit on furniture that isn't made of fabric. Get rid of the rugs on the screened in porch, too. It visually appears to come out as a mist, but no matter how much I cut back the amount of water feeding it, everything eventually gets soaked. I am not really sure if I am doing something wrong or not. I have flow control on the water feeding the garden hose (that feeds the nozzle mister) and end up getting wet no matter how low I drop the water output. Perhaps I need a finer version of flow control. Nevertheless, today went up over 100 degrees and the misting/shower was welcome. But, I had to move all of my screened-in porch items out of the way ... rugs, fabric chair pads, etc. ... or risk having someone come in and sit on them and get a wet bottom .... or risk creating a mildew situation.I'll give this some more thought and see if there's something about the way that I installed it that could be improved. If I find a better way (or if someone can tell me one), I'll change this rating. For the other reviews, you should probably check them to see if the buyers are verified buyers of the product on Amazon and if they have any other Amazon-verified purchases. I really hate when fake reviews scam me and I didn't have time to scope the rest of them out this time.Day 3: I disassembled it. Will try again when I have more time, but I seriously think it will be best used outside where kids are in swimsuits and there's nothing to destroy.

Great product that does exactly what it describes...having said that...
This is a great product that really works well. Being that this is the cheapest I could find a set-up for a fan the price is a selling factor, but at 20 dollars you are paying a a lot for pressure fittings and 3 brass nozzles. Great product if your willing to spend as much or more on the mister that the fan your attaching it to.

It really works
I have a small pond. I'm trying to shade it; but it still gets HOT under the awning. Hooking this mister to a fan really works great. It cools the area under the awning to a manageable level even during the hottest days.
