Great book! It does require a good foundation on the aspects of astronomy and astrophysics, and if you want to pursue a course in astronomy in astrophysics in a good college, this is a must read!Also quite helpful for olympiads.Another great book like this is "Introduction to Modern Astrophysics" by Carroll and Ostlie, which is a must read too.
