Best clothes dryer on the market.
We purchased several (different) brands - and none of them were as sturdy & easy to operate as this one. My hats off to the engineers that created this..a real pleasure to use. Helps save a lot of electricity. We live on the beach and wet towels are a constant..sand filled wet towels. Put them in the dryer...lord no! Nor anything that is wet & dirty - like spirak or rags. Hang them up first, then in the washer.

really glad I got this
This is a well engineered clothesline. I saw these rotary ones in movies and such but only had a linear one before myself. This particular one has an adjustable height, which allows it to be easily adjusted to the height of the parents or kids responsible for hanging out the laundry. It also is removable from its base in case you want to store it inside during some months. There is a design defect of sorts though. When your kids pull the clothes off, it can and will break the little connectors that hold each wire in place. So you lose wires until they stop pulling. Clothes have to be gently lifted straight up and no force applied to the cable. That is hard for short people. This problem could be fixed with better crimps. The crimps really are not strong enough. Perhaps the device could come with a little bag of extra crimps to handle this. A second problem is that the lines are so closely spaced that if you put things on each line, they are very slow drying compared to doing every other line. This second problem though is fixed by the first problem. After many lines have been torn off by pulling clothes instead of lifting, you have wider spacing automagically! We've learned to live with these problems and it's been a long time since a line was broken. Bottom line is this is a great clothesline, despite there being some things that can be done to improve it.

Simple installation.
So far, so good. Setup was a breeze. Don't try to drink the supplied socket into the ground if its harder than sand. Use a spade, aka long skinny bladed shovel, to dig a hole almost deep enough and loosen the dirt in the bottom. Stomp the socket the rest of the way in with your heel. Insert the pole and plumb it, that is make sure it is straight. Put dirt around it and pack it in with the handle of the big hammer you didn't use to try to drive the socket in. Piece of cake. Remaining question is product endurance.

Lightweight and efficient!
Love this clothesline. Easy for me to install and it holds 5-6 king sheets easily. Serves my needs much more effectively than the old heavily strung wooden one I had before. And......it collapses so easily when I need to for mowing.
